Student answer (Band 6.0)
Nowadays, many people wish to try creative things, such as, explore new places and different kinds of foods, although others prefer to keep doing regular routines. As far as I am concerned, both play pivotal role in individuals' lives.
On the one hand, exploring new things helps significantly enhances creative thinking in their personal and professional life. For example, latest trend, many people busy with hectic schedule in during weekdays, because they are planning to visit new places and eat delicious food outside for unwind on weekends. Therefore, this trend not only helps them to reduce their stress but also rejuvenates them for the upcoming workweek. Furthermore, exploring new cultures enables us to appreciate universal human values.
On the other hand, maintaing a daily routine is beneficial, particulary for elderly. Moreover, it not only fosters independence but also encourages social interaction. For instance, while older adults may require support, many prefer to maintain their autonomy rather than depend on their children. Establishing a structured routine enables them to carry out daily activities with confidence, alleviating anxiety about unexpected challenges. If they follow a consistent schedule, it stimulates cognitive function and promotes physical mobility, helping to preserve their overall health as they age.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses both sides of the argument and provides a clear personal opinion. The ideas are relevant, such as the benefits of exploring new things for stress relief and the importance of routine for the elderly. However, the development of these ideas is somewhat limited. The conclusion is a bit repetitive, merely restating the prompt rather than synthesizing the arguments presented. To reach a higher band, you should ensure that your personal opinion is more deeply integrated into the body paragraphs and that the conclusion provides a more insightful summary of your position.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, and there is a clear progression of ideas. You use cohesive devices such as 'On the one hand,' 'Furthermore,' and 'In conclusion' to link your thoughts. However, some transitions feel slightly mechanical, and there are minor issues with referencing and sentence-level flow. For example, the sentence 'latest trend, many people busy with hectic schedule in during weekdays' lacks a clear cohesive link to the previous point. Improving the variety and naturalness of your linking words will help the flow of your writing.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using terms like 'pivotal role,' 'rejuvenates,' 'autonomy,' and 'cognitive function.' There are some minor errors in word choice and collocation, such as 'creative things' (perhaps 'novel experiences' would be better) and 'are play significant role' (a grammatical error affecting lexical accuracy). While you attempt to use less common vocabulary, some phrasing remains slightly simplistic. Expanding your range of collocations and ensuring precise word usage will help elevate your score in this criterion.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the meaning is generally clear, there are several grammatical errors that occur throughout the text. Examples include 'helps significantly enhances' (should be 'helps to enhance' or 'significantly enhances'), 'maintaing' (spelling), 'particulary' (spelling), and 'both attitudes are play' (should be 'both attitudes play'). These errors are frequent enough to be noticeable but do not prevent the reader from understanding your message. Focusing on subject-verb agreement and proofreading for small spelling slips would improve your accuracy.
