Student answer (Band 6.0)
Certain people enjoy trying various cuisines and visiting different places to explore cultures around the world. Whereas others prefer to stick with their conventional routine they are satisfied with. However, I completely agreed that people should scout diverse traditions and dishes.
To begin with, often individuals travels around the world and try several foods to understand the lifestyle of others. Some Human beings perceive it as a hobby to explore world and break the boundry of their comfort zone which often helps them to grow mentally and emotionally. The famous Indian actor Amir khan once said in an interview that everyone should travel all around India to fully comprehend its civilization. That said, I think numerous people adapted this attitude as a hobby to build themselves stronger and intellectual.
On the other hand, plenty of people omit this as a hobby or options to live life as their comfort zone and steady routine satisfied their needs. They believes, the expenses of trips and food is overspending and unnecessary things. Although this omission often create a lack of knowledge and deteriorate their confidence in life, individuals thinks that saving funds and the persistance of same routine will help them to grow.
In conclusion, both sides has their own point of views on this topic, I feel, the essential of trying new food and travelling to new places to appreciate traditions and grasp knowledge gives a new perception of life. Which overcome the benefit of keep ourself in boundries of comfort zone.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses all parts of the prompt by discussing both attitudes and providing a clear personal opinion. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. While you mention that exploring new things helps one grow 'mentally and emotionally,' this point is not fully extended with specific examples or deeper analysis. Similarly, the counter-argument regarding comfort zones is touched upon but remains superficial. To reach a higher band, ensure that each body paragraph provides a more detailed explanation of the 'why' and 'how' behind these attitudes, rather than just stating them. Your position is clear throughout, which is a strength.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, and there is a clear progression of ideas from the introduction to the conclusion. You use some cohesive devices such as 'To begin with,' 'On the other hand,' and 'In conclusion' to signal shifts in the argument. However, the use of these devices is sometimes mechanical or slightly inaccurate, such as starting a sentence with 'Whereas' or 'Which' in a way that creates a fragment. Improving the flow between sentences by using a wider variety of linking words and ensuring that pronouns clearly refer back to their antecedents would enhance the overall coherence.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using words like 'conventional,' 'comprehend,' 'deteriorate,' and 'perception.' However, there are several instances of word-choice errors and awkward collocations, such as 'scout diverse traditions' (instead of 'explore'), 'omit this as a hobby' (instead of 'dismiss'), and 'the essential of trying' (instead of 'the essence'). Some vocabulary is repetitive, such as the frequent use of 'hobby.' To improve, focus on learning collocations—words that naturally go together—and try to use more precise terminology to express your ideas more fluently.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While you attempt complex sentences, there are frequent grammatical errors, particularly with subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'individuals travels,' 'Some Human beings perceive,' 'both sides has,' 'individuals thinks'). There are also issues with punctuation and sentence fragments, such as 'Which overcome the benefit of keep ourself in boundries of comfort zone.' These errors are noticeable and occur throughout the text. To improve, focus on basic grammatical accuracy, specifically ensuring that subjects and verbs agree and that sentences are complete thoughts rather than fragments.
