IELTS Writing Task 2 question
Some people like to try new things, for example, places to visit and types of food. Other people prefer to keep doing things they are familiar with.
Discuss both these attitudes and give your own opinion.
Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.
Student answer (Band 6.0)
People have different prefrences for everything such as many of them love to explore distinct places or new food items, nevertheless some enjoy to stick with the same things all the time. I love to try new thing whenever i get a chance as it allows me to have new experiences regardless of turning out good or bad.
On the one hand, the most prominent point is that people who visit new places or try different food can have over the moon experiences. To elaborate on it, visiting a new places or eating new food can give a person an unforgetable type of happiness allow them you carry it's memories for the lifetime. On top of it, an extrovert person who loves to gain new experiences can be benefited to get knowlege about various cultures as well as their famous food items which hepls to spread more and more cultural diversity.
On the other hand, people who are utterly particular about where they go and what they eat hold a surity that their time or money will not get wasted because they are already familiar with those particular things. Additionally, The more a person keeps going to a place or eating the same item the more are the chances that those things will become a stress reliever activity to do by building a blessed connection.
In conclusion, although there are perks and drawbacks of both the opinions, i wholeheartly hold the view that everyone should try new experiences to live their life to the fullest.
