Student answer (Band 5.5)
Few people never hesitate to explore different activities such as eating at different restaurants or travelling, On the other side some people rarely do something out of their regular routine. However, I Think people should have a break from their life and explore new places.
Undoubtedly, People who travel more are likely to have a better knowledge of the world. They utilize their leisure time to explore the things in numerous ways.According to a news article revealed that those people explore the different things are more confident than those who never leave their comfort zone. For instance, When people learn about different things their knowledge boosts up which will eventually increase their confidence level.
On the other hand, People argue that they do not have enough time to do different things. The already have a hectic lifestyle and during their free time they want to spend quality time with their family and friends. Secondaly, Most of the people do not belongs to the wealthy family. They have to think twice to do something irregular out of their schedule, and they are afraid of going somewhere unknown places due to finanicial burden. Then people keep doing things which are already familiar to them.
In my opinion, people should visit different places and try new occassions.People should try atleast to do a solo trip twice a year because travelling will teach us a lot of things. People will meet new freinds outside their comfort zone. They would learn neumrous things which they can not learn while staying in their comfort zone.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
The response successfully addresses all parts of the prompt by discussing both the attitude of trying new things and the preference for familiar routines, while also clearly stating the writer's personal opinion in the introduction and conclusion. However, some ideas remain under-developed or somewhat repetitive. For instance, the discussion on why people stick to their routines focuses on lack of time and financial burdens, but the supporting examples are brief and general, such as stating that people have a hectic lifestyle without further elaboration. To reach a higher level, the ideas need to be more fully extended with more specific examples and deeper analysis of both perspectives.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The essay presents a coherent overall arrangement with a clear introduction, body paragraphs addressing each viewpoint, and a concluding stance. Paragraphing is used appropriately to separate ideas. However, cohesion can sometimes feel mechanical or faulty, with abrupt transitions between sentences and paragraphs, such as starting a sentence with 'Then people keep doing things...' or 'Secondaly'. Referencing is also occasionally unclear, and cohesive devices are not always managed with complete flexibility. To improve, the writer should ensure smoother logical links between sentences and make the progression of ideas more fluid throughout the text.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
The vocabulary used is adequate for the task, successfully conveying the main ideas about routines and travelling. The writer attempts some less common vocabulary, such as 'comfort zone' and 'financial burden', but there are noticeable errors in word choice, spelling, and word form, including 'Secondaly', 'belongs' instead of 'belong', 'occassions', 'neumrous', and 'finanicial'. While these lexical errors and spelling mistakes do not seriously impede communication, they restrict the score. To achieve a higher band, the writer needs to expand their range of vocabulary, use less common lexical items with greater precision, and eliminate spelling slips.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The response features a mix of simple and some complex sentence forms, demonstrating a limited range of grammatical structures. There are several noticeable errors in grammar and punctuation, such as missing articles, punctuation issues like comma splices ('...travelling, On the other side...'), subject-verb agreement issues ('The already have'), and preposition errors. Although these errors rarely completely impede communication, they occur frequently enough to prevent the writing from reaching a higher level. To progress further, the writer should aim for greater control over complex sentence structures and improve punctuation and grammatical accuracy.
