Student answer (Band 5.0)
Many individuals like to do things at home rather than trying new things like, exploring new places and trying different types of cuisines. both these views are different from every aspect of individuals daily life . we will discuss both the statements and give our opinion at the end .
To start with the view point ,that there are different types of people living in city with different point of view . some of them love to travel to new places .This is due to they are fond of finding new place by travelling their , they are keen to explore more about the place . other factor is that which push them more is the social media platform , because they are connected to different people around the world and they post's photos of scenery as well as of food . which force them to travel and experience different food .
On the contrary, some people believe that they love to do things at home. as they love to spend time with familiy . by doing this they know more about the feelings of them and enjoy their routine task as well . It's not that mean they don not travel or taste distinct types of food . They do all these activites with their loved ones rather than doing with others . The main cause behind this is that they don't want leave their family or don't want be away from them .The fear of separation makes them to remain united with them.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5
You address both attitudes: the first body paragraph describes people who explore new places and food, while the second explains a preference for spending time with family and keeping familiar routines. However, the response only partially fulfils the task because your own opinion is not clearly stated; the introduction promises one “at the end,” but no concluding paragraph or explicit position follows. The discussion is also limited: social media is offered as a reason for travel, and fear of separation as a reason to stay close to family, but these points are not sufficiently explained or supported with a specific example. To strengthen the response, state your view clearly and develop each attitude with a concrete example and fuller reasoning.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure, with an opening and separate paragraphs for the two attitudes. Phrases such as “To start with” and “On the contrary” help signal the shift between viewpoints. However, progression is weakened by unclear links within sentences, including “This is due to they are fond of finding new place by travelling their,” and by repeated or awkward transitions such as “other factor is that which push them more.” The promised conclusion is absent, so the essay does not feel complete and your position is not brought together. Use clearer topic sentences, connect each reason directly to its explanation, and add a final paragraph that summarises both views and states your opinion.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “explore,” “scenery,” “routine task,” and “distinct types of food,” so the reader can follow the general discussion. However, the range is limited and several expressions are inaccurate or unnatural, which makes parts of the response difficult to interpret. For example, “do things at home” does not clearly express the idea of preferring familiar activities, and “the fear of separation makes them to remain united” is an awkward way to describe staying close to family. There are also spelling and word-form errors, such as “familiy,” “activites,” and “post's.” Build a more precise range of phrases for preferences, motivations, and examples, and check spelling and collocations carefully.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt some longer sentences and subordinate clauses, for example, “The main cause behind this is that they don't want leave their family,” but complex structures are often faulty. Errors in verb patterns, articles, agreement, and sentence boundaries occur throughout: “they are fond of finding new place,” “which push them,” and “they don't want leave” need grammatical correction. Capitalisation and punctuation are also inconsistent, as in “both these views” after a full stop and the sentence beginning “as they love to spend time.” These errors sometimes make relationships between ideas unclear. Practise accurate basic sentence patterns first, then extend them with clauses using correct verb forms and punctuation.
