Student answer (Band 5.0)
Nowadays, it is trend that people go out and explore new places for fun and try new food. Therefore, it is a highly debatable issue that some people think they should try new things such as food and visit new places and other think it is best to do, what you are familiar with. However, I agree with first point to full extent.
To begin with, people who prefer to visit new places, gained more experience as well as make new frineds because meeting new people would help them to learn about them and they can find out how people live there and they can also admire the beauty of the new place which can further help them in their relaxation. Moreover, people who are in the food industry, trying new food enable them to introduced more varity in the food items that they sell to the customers, not only they can attract new customers by giving them something that they have not even tried yet, but also they can earn good money.
In addition, tring new things brings positive attitude in the people as well as for the country. For example, there are alot of hebs, vegetables and food which may be work as a medicaton for some people, but to find these sources are hard, but not impossible, for that people need to explore and have to try new things.
In conclusion, based on aformentioned reasons, people, ttrying new things are more vulnerable to gain some thing from this as compared to other. However, some people feel more happiness by keep doing things they are familiar with.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You state a clear preference for trying new things (“I agree with first point”) and give relevant reasons, including gaining experience, meeting people, and discovering unfamiliar foods. These examples show an attempt to support your view. However, the task asks you to discuss both attitudes, and the preference for familiar activities receives only a brief mention in the conclusion; its possible benefits, such as comfort, predictability, or avoiding risk, are not explained. Some supporting points are also unclear or insufficiently developed, particularly the claim that trying new things benefits a country and the example about herbs and medicine. Develop both sides more evenly and explain how each example supports your argument.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has an introduction, two body paragraphs, and a conclusion, and signposts such as “To begin with,” “In addition,” and “In conclusion” help readers recognise the stages of the essay. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes difficult to follow: the first body paragraph moves from travel and friendships to the food industry without a clear link, while the herbs example is not fully connected to the claim about a positive attitude. Some linking is mechanical, and the final sentence introduces the opposing view only at the end rather than developing it in a separate paragraph. Organise each paragraph around one main point, use clearer links between examples and claims, and give both attitudes a distinct place in the structure.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You attempt topic-related vocabulary, including “explore new places,” “admire the beauty,” “attract new customers,” and “medication.” This gives you some means of expressing ideas about travel, food, and discovery. However, the range is limited and several noticeable spelling, word-form, and collocation errors make parts of the response harder to understand, such as “frineds,” “varity,” “tring,” and “vulnerable to gain.” Some phrases are also imprecise, including “positive attitude … for the country” and “find these sources are hard.” Aim for accurate, natural combinations of words and check spelling carefully. More precise vocabulary would help you explain the benefits of familiarity as well as novelty.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You try to use both simple and complex sentences, including clauses with “because,” “which,” and “not only … but also.” However, complex structures are often faulty, and errors occur frequently enough to make some sentences difficult to follow. For example, “people who prefer to visit new places, gained more experience” has an incorrect comma and verb form, while “trying new food enable them to introduced” contains agreement and verb-form problems. The sentence beginning “For example, there are alot of hebs” also has an unclear grammatical structure. Practise building accurate sentences with subordinate clauses, checking subject–verb agreement and verb patterns, and using punctuation to separate clauses clearly.
