Student answer (Band 5.5)
Although certain individuals love to enjoy various tastes in life, others want to do same tasks repeatedly. In the given essay I will discuss both human natures with reasons, I will give my personal opinion regarding this views.
On the one hand side, society is updated day by day ;therefore, people like to melt themself according to the modern era, to be more clear, pupils visit new places because they wanna get the knowledge about unique things around the world such as culture, language and lifestyle. International students in Canada are the fine example behind this thaught because they not only come for certification but also want to gain new experience, which helps to polish their skills and personality. As a result, masses are able to touch the clouds of success easily in the competitive world.
On the other hand, people are attached with their roots deeply that is why they do the common regularly. In explanation, people either like old culture or the peaceful things and places which they use from the staring period of time. For instance, maximum people like to sleep on their own bed rather than using any expensive or new sleepcomfort because they are comfortable at that place. In brief, people have pogessive nature so they like to enjoy their similar life which give peace to them and they ignore the modern era challenges.
In my opinion, no dout, getting new experience is necessary in life but the mind peace is much more important as compared to other things. Concequently, everone has their own choice; doing those things which are favoourable for the happiness of mind.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address both attitudes and give a personal view: the first body paragraph explains why people seek new places and experiences, while the second describes the comfort of familiar routines. Your examples of international students and sleeping in one’s own bed are relevant, and the conclusion states that new experiences matter but peace of mind is more important. However, the discussion is uneven: the benefits of trying new things are linked to learning and success, whereas the reasons for preferring familiar things are less fully explained. Your opinion also shifts toward personal choice rather than clearly weighing the two attitudes. Develop the comparison and explain more precisely why you prioritise peace of mind to make the response more complete.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The essay has a clear overall structure, with an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two attitudes, and a concluding opinion. Signposts such as “On the one hand,” “On the other hand,” and “In my opinion” help readers follow the progression. This organisation is effective, and the ideas generally move in a logical order. To make the cohesion more natural and precise, reduce formulaic transitions such as “In explanation” and “In brief,” and ensure that each sentence connects clearly to the point before it. For example, the link between familiar routines and “modern era challenges” is not fully explained. Clearer referencing and smoother links between claims and examples would strengthen the flow further.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You attempt a range of vocabulary related to the topic, including “unique things,” “culture, language and lifestyle,” “competitive world,” and “peace of mind.” However, word choice and collocation are often inaccurate or unnatural, which sometimes makes the meaning difficult to follow. Phrases such as “melt themself according to the modern era,” “touch the clouds of success,” and “sleepcomfort” do not express the intended ideas clearly in English. There are also noticeable spelling errors, including “thaught,” “staring,” and “Concequently.” Aim for accurate, natural combinations rather than ornate expressions, and check spelling carefully. More precise vocabulary for familiarity, exploration, and personal comfort would make your ideas clearer.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You use both simple and complex sentence forms, including clauses introduced by “because,” “that is why,” and “which,” so there is some structural variety. However, attempts at longer sentences are often faulty, and errors can make relationships between ideas unclear. For example, “In the given essay I will discuss both human natures with reasons, I will give my personal opinion” joins two independent clauses with only a comma. In “people are attached with their roots deeply that is why they do the common regularly,” the clauses need clearer punctuation and grammatical construction. Subject–verb agreement is also inconsistent, as in “their similar life which give peace.” Practise building accurate complex sentences and check agreement, articles, and punctuation.
