Student answer (Band 5.5)
A few individuals love to explore new things, such as places and different cuisines, on the other hand, some just want to stay in similar place. I believe that people should visit numerous places to get more knowledge about inns and outs of universe. I will discuss both the views with my opinion in the forthcoming paragraph.
To commence with the former notion, some of the masses love to go to different places to relax, get some knowledge and spend time with loved ones. To explain this, we someone visit new places then that person forget the stress of daily life and spend some quality time family and friends by doing this, they are able to concentrate more their work work. Moreover, people get the opportunity to meet with new people, which really good to get information about their culture, tradition and about their food. Thus, many individuals love to visit different places.
Shifting towards the latter notion, first and foremost reason of staying at the same place is that they are familiar with language, work and also want to stay with family. To elaborate this, they think that by living in hometown would be easy for them to spend time loved ones on spacial occasions which give them happiness and they also get financial support and good advice from them. As they know the language and work style of that place, it would be easy for them to do work to earn money because they do not want to take risk. According to report of The Tribune Newspaper, in India, abound 34% adults want to stay at their birthplace with their parants because they familiar work environment and financial support from family. Hence, some of the masses stay at same place.
To conclude, although people love do work or other things they are familiar, they aslo have to explore new things so that they get more job opportunities and other knowledge about culture, tradition and cuisines.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address both attitudes and state a clear preference for exploring new places and experiences. The first body paragraph gives relevant reasons, including relaxation, learning about other cultures, and spending time with loved ones; the second explains familiarity, family support, and avoiding risk. These points meet the task, but some are developed more fully than others. For example, the benefits of travel are listed rather than illustrated with a specific example, and the claim that exploring brings “more job opportunities” appears only in the conclusion without explanation. The newspaper statistic supports the second view, although its relevance could be made clearer. To strengthen the response, explain how one or two examples demonstrate your position and connect the conclusion more directly to the reasons discussed.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two attitudes, and a conclusion. The progression from people who explore to those who prefer familiarity is easy to follow, and signposts such as “To commence with” and “Shifting towards” help identify the discussion. This meets the lower-band expectations and shows some flexibility in organising the argument. However, several transitions feel formulaic, and some links between ideas are unclear. For instance, “by doing this, they are able to concentrate more their work work” interrupts the explanation, while the conclusion introduces job opportunities without a preceding discussion. Use fewer stock transitions, make cause-and-effect links explicit, and ensure each paragraph develops one connected line of reasoning.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “cuisines,” “tradition,” “financial support,” and “familiar work environment.” There are also attempts at less common or formal expressions, such as “former notion” and “elaborate.” However, the range is limited by repeated general terms such as “people,” “different places,” and “knowledge,” and several choices or collocations are inaccurate. Examples include “inns and outs of universe,” “stay in similar place,” and “spacial occasions”; spelling errors such as “parants” and “aslo” also reduce precision. These issues sometimes make the reader pause, though the main meaning remains understandable. Build a more precise range for discussing travel and familiarity, and check spelling and natural word combinations when revising.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and complex sentences, including clauses beginning with “although” and “because,” and the overall meaning is generally recoverable. However, control is uneven, particularly in longer sentences, and errors sometimes make relationships between ideas difficult to follow. For example, “we someone visit new places then that person forget” has problems with clause structure and verb form, while “they are familiar with language” and “they also have to explore” show missing articles or an awkward verb pattern. There are also agreement and sentence-boundary problems in “which really good to get information.” Practise building accurate complex sentences with one main clause and a clearly attached subordinate clause, then check articles, verb forms, and punctuation.
