Student answer (Band 5.5)
In this contemporary era, few individuals grew their interest towards new places and foods. However, others have opposite opinion and want to remain in same routine. I will mention both these views along with my own perspective in further paragraphs.
To begin with, various aspect shows that life in incomplete without trying different things therefore, having new cuisines and explore places have greate signifance. As, when people add new food they get chance to change the taste of their tounge also, can differentiate among best and worse things after trying so that they can choose appropriate food for next time instead wasting money for any other thing that individual do not like. Moreover, visiting at another location is the best way to broden knowledge about other countries culture and tradition. It not only confines for grabing new things, also get to know about the job system at that particular location which helps to boost economy level of their own nation.
On the other side, the aspect can not be denied that some time it is worthless to try new things because if persons invest money for the thing that they do not know about then it will be totally waste of time and finance. It requires huge time to travel in different country for exploring new places, no doubt that it gives entertainment for sometime but will be great financial loss if they do not like it. To illustrate, any worker take one week holidays to visit another place and try cusines there then it can make loss of money any precious time.
In conclusion, although some drawbacks can be seen of trevelling another place and having food, this aspect also have some potential benefits that can not be ignored as it is great way of entertainmen

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address both attitudes: the first main paragraph supports trying unfamiliar food and places, while the next explains concerns about cost and wasted time. Your conclusion also signals a preference for the benefits, but your own position is not clearly stated or consistently developed; the opening only promises to give a perspective. Several points remain general or unclear. For example, the claim that travel can reveal another country’s job system is not explained, and the example of a worker’s holiday mainly repeats the financial-cost argument rather than showing its consequences. To strengthen the response, state your view directly and develop each main reason with a clear explanation and a specific, relevant example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable introduction, two body paragraphs presenting contrasting views, and a conclusion, so the reader can identify its broad structure. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes difficult to follow, and linking expressions can feel mechanical or unclear. In the first body paragraph, the move from food choices to travel, culture, employment, and the national economy introduces several ideas without showing how they connect. Phrases such as “To begin with” and “On the other side” signal sections, but do not always clarify the relationship between individual points. Improve cohesion by focusing each paragraph on one central reason, ordering supporting details logically, and using clear references and transitions between ideas.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “cuisines,” “tradition,” “financial loss,” and “exploring new places.” However, the range and control are limited, and frequent spelling, word-form, and collocation problems sometimes make meaning less clear. Examples include “greate signifance,” “broden knowledge,” “grabing new things,” and “entertainmen.” Some expressions are also unnatural, such as “change the taste of their tounge” and “remain in same routine.” Aim for accurate, natural combinations rather than more elaborate wording: for instance, describe sampling food as “experience different flavours,” and say that travel can “broaden one’s understanding of other cultures.” Proofreading spelling and checking collocations would make your ideas easier to understand.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including clauses introduced by “because,” “although,” and “which.” However, complex structures are often faulty, and frequent errors in articles, agreement, verb forms, and sentence construction can make the reader work to understand your meaning. For example, “various aspect shows” has a number-agreement problem, while “having new cuisines and explore places have” combines inconsistent forms and an unclear subject. The sentence beginning “As, when people add new food” is also incomplete and awkwardly joined to the following idea. Practise building complete sentences with one clear subject and verb, then check articles and agreement. Greater accuracy in these patterns would make your varied sentence attempts more effective.
