Student answer (Band 6.0)
It has recently found that there are some people who like to do new things such as to explore different places and food whereas others like to stay in their comfort zone with similar things they do daily. Both the approaches have their pros and cons, but ultimately, I believe it is best to combine the two in moderation.
The primary reason for my opinion is adventure and thrill. For example: an eminent personality Ms. Richa Chadha, she likes to discover new places and food and update by her blogging on social networking sites. This shows her interest in exploring the part of the world and different cuisines. Moreover, new generation likes to be trendy and updated and by going to new places they feel that superiority. This brings to them confident and pleasure so that they can showoff in front of their friends.
On the other side, Comfort: by doing the same familiar thing, brings a sense of comfort and warmth. It will be explain with an illustration, Rahul, one of my close friend, he always order food from the same restaurant. I suggest him to try new place and he denied. According to him, he knows about this restaurant's taste and quantity. However, if he try somewhere else it will be risky, It might be waste of money.
In conclusion, I tend to believe that it has both fruitful outcome as well as limitations, exploring new things can bring new experience and take you away from comfort zone whereas rely on same things can lead to boredom. So in conclusion to this essay it is best to combine the two in moderation.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address both attitudes and state a clear view: “it is best to combine the two in moderation.” The examples of Richa Chadha exploring places and food, and Rahul choosing a familiar restaurant, are relevant and help illustrate each side. However, the discussion is unevenly developed. The benefits of trying new things are mainly described as excitement, trendiness and social approval, while the familiar-choice example focuses on avoiding wasted money; the reasons could be explained more fully and balanced with broader benefits, such as reliability or reduced stress. Your conclusion repeats your position but adds little synthesis. To strengthen the response, explain the consequences of each attitude and show more clearly why a moderate balance is preferable.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The essay has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two attitudes, and a conclusion. The contrast is easy to follow, and phrases such as “On the other side” signal a shift in focus. However, some connections feel mechanical or unclear: “For example:” introduces a sentence fragment, and “This brings to them confident and pleasure” does not clearly connect the example to the claim. The paragraph beginning “On the other side, Comfort” also uses a label and colon rather than a smooth topic sentence. The conclusion repeats the same moderation point twice. Use clearer topic sentences, connect examples explicitly to the reasons they support, and avoid repeating the same idea.
Lexical Resource: Band 6.0
You use an adequate range of vocabulary for the topic, including “comfort zone,” “exploring,” “cuisines,” “risky,” and “boredom.” These choices make the main ideas understandable, and you attempt more expressive language such as “adventure and thrill.” Some word choices and collocations are inaccurate or unnatural, however: “update by her blogging,” “they feel that superiority,” and “fruitful outcome” do not express the intended meanings naturally. “Showoff” is also informal and incorrectly formed in this context. Aim for precise, natural combinations rather than ambitious phrases that do not fit; for example, describe the confidence or enjoyment people gain, and use a more suitable phrase for the benefits and drawbacks of each approach.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including contrast with “whereas” and a conditional idea in “if he try somewhere else it will be risky.” The overall meaning remains understandable, but some grammatical errors recur. Examples include “It has recently found” instead of a passive construction such as “It has recently been found,” “one of my close friend” instead of a plural noun, and “he always order” instead of subject–verb agreement. There are also incomplete or awkward structures, such as “For example: an eminent personality Ms. Richa Chadha,” and “by doing the same familiar thing, brings a sense of comfort.” Work on complete sentence construction, verb forms and agreement, and use punctuation to separate clauses clearly. More accurate control would make your varied structures easier to follow.
