Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 7.5

You have addressed all three bullet points in the prompt effectively. You clearly described the book, explained its personal impact, and provided a logical argument for why it would influence others. The tone is appropriate for a magazine contribution. To reach a higher band, ensure that your explanations are slightly more detailed; for instance, when mentioning how the book changed your vision, you could provide a specific example of a habit you changed to make the response more engaging and fully developed.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 7.0

The letter is well-organized with a clear introduction, body paragraphs, and a closing. You use basic cohesive devices such as 'Additionally' and 'Instead of' to link ideas. However, the flow between sentences is sometimes a bit mechanical. To improve, try to vary your linking words and ensure that the transition between your personal experience and the general recommendation is smoother. Paragraphing is used appropriately to separate the different aspects of the task.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.5

You have a sufficient range of vocabulary to convey your message clearly. Phrases like 'profound impact' and 'long-term practical strategies' are effective. However, there are some minor errors in word choice and collocation, such as 'true experienced' (should be 'true experiences') and 'its advices' (advice is an uncountable noun). Expanding your vocabulary to include more precise collocations would help elevate your score.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.5

You demonstrate a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While your meaning is generally clear, there are several grammatical slips, such as 'The book I would like to recommended' (should be 'recommend') and 'This book influence' (should be 'influences'). Additionally, there are minor punctuation and article errors, such as 'on daily basis' (should be 'on a daily basis'). Focusing on subject-verb agreement and consistent verb tense usage will help you achieve a higher band.
