Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 7.5

You have successfully addressed all three bullet points in the prompt. You described the book, explained its influence on your personal and professional life, and provided a clear opinion on its potential to influence others. The ideas are relevant and well-developed. To reach a higher band, ensure that your opening sentence accurately reflects the title of the article provided in the prompt, as you missed the word 'most' in your introduction. Overall, the response is purposeful and meets the requirements of the task effectively.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 7.5

The letter is logically organized with a clear introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion. Each paragraph focuses on a specific aspect of the prompt, which helps the reader follow your ideas easily. You use some cohesive devices such as 'Additionally' and 'Instead of', though the flow could be improved by using a wider variety of linking words to connect sentences more fluidly. Paragraphing is used appropriately, and the overall structure is clear and easy to follow throughout the letter.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.5

You demonstrate a sufficient range of vocabulary to convey your ideas clearly, such as 'profound impact', 'disciplined', and 'practical strategies'. However, there are some minor inaccuracies in word choice and collocation, such as 'this book influence' (should be 'influenced') and 'true experienced' (should be 'true experiences'). You also use 'advices', which is an uncountable noun and should be 'advice'. While these errors do not impede communication, they prevent the response from reaching a higher band. Expanding your range of collocations would further strengthen your writing.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.5

You use a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While your meaning is generally clear, there are several grammatical slips, such as 'this book influence' instead of 'influenced', 'solely only' (redundant), and 'on daily basis' (missing an article). Additionally, there are minor punctuation issues, such as the comma usage in 'such as, building'. To improve, focus on subject-verb agreement and the correct use of articles. Despite these errors, the sentence structures are varied enough to maintain the reader's interest and the errors do not cause significant difficulty in understanding your message.
