Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

You have addressed all three bullet points of the task: describing the book, explaining its influence, and discussing its potential impact on others. The tone is appropriate for a magazine contribution. However, the development of your ideas is somewhat limited. For example, while you mention that the book taught you about 'politics and trading market', you do not elaborate on how this specific knowledge changed your perspective or actions in a meaningful way. To reach a higher band, ensure that your explanations are more detailed and provide concrete examples of the 'influence' mentioned in the prompt.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The letter is logically organized into paragraphs, each serving a clear purpose. You use some cohesive devices such as 'Apart from this' and 'I definitely believe' to link your ideas. However, the flow between sentences is sometimes mechanical, and there are instances where the connection between ideas is slightly disjointed, such as the transition between reading the book and the subsequent mention of politics. Improving the variety of your linking words and ensuring smoother transitions between sentences would enhance the overall readability and coherence of your writing.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using words like 'pivotal', 'multitudinous', and 'financial freedom'. However, there are several instances of awkward word choice and collocation errors, such as 'provide me multitudinous benefit', 'individuals are become multi-millionaire', and 'every people'. These errors occasionally distract the reader. To improve, focus on learning common collocations and ensuring that your word forms (e.g., singular vs. plural, verb tenses) are used accurately in context. Expanding your range to include more precise academic or formal vocabulary would also be beneficial.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

You attempt a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, which is a positive step. However, there are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text, including subject-verb agreement issues ('a book that play', 'this book discribe'), article usage ('at the young age'), and sentence fragments or run-on sentences. These errors are noticeable and occur frequently, though they do not completely impede communication. To improve, pay closer attention to basic subject-verb agreement and proofread your work to identify missing words or incorrect verb forms before finalizing your response.
