Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 7.0

You have addressed all three bullet points in the prompt: describing the book, explaining its influence, and discussing its potential impact on others. Your position is clear throughout the letter. The ideas are relevant, although the explanation of how the book influenced you could be further developed with more specific examples of how your daily routine changed. For instance, you mention overcoming procrastination, but describing a specific habit you changed would have strengthened the response. Overall, the letter is well-structured and fulfills the requirements of the task effectively.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5

The letter is logically organized with a clear introduction, body paragraphs, and a closing. You use some cohesive devices such as 'However', 'Moreover', and 'Therefore' to link ideas. However, the flow between sentences is occasionally slightly mechanical. Paragraphing is used appropriately to separate the different requirements of the task. To improve, try to vary your linking words and ensure that the transition between your personal experience and the general recommendation of the book is smoother. The referencing is generally clear, and the reader can easily follow your argument.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.0

You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using terms like 'procrastination', 'human behaviour', and 'life changing'. There are some spelling errors, such as 'tittle' instead of 'title', 'phycology' instead of 'psychology', and 'preform' instead of 'perform'. These errors do not impede communication but indicate a need for more careful proofreading. You rely on some simple descriptors like 'very simple language' and 'very popular'. Incorporating more precise adjectives and collocations would help elevate your score in this criterion.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0

You use a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. There are several grammatical slips, such as 'I always felt I like I am laziest person' (missing articles and incorrect verb tense) and 'reader can connect' (missing article). Additionally, there are punctuation issues, such as the space before the comma in 'Best Regards ,'. While these errors are noticeable, they do not prevent the reader from understanding your message. To reach a higher band, focus on consistent use of articles, correct verb tenses, and more accurate punctuation.
