Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

You have addressed all three bullet points of the task: describing the book, explaining its influence, and discussing its potential impact on others. The tone is appropriate for a magazine contribution. However, the development of your ideas is somewhat limited. For instance, while you mention the book's content, the description is quite general and lacks specific examples of the book's arguments. Similarly, the explanation of how it influenced you could be more detailed to fully satisfy the 'well-developed' requirement of higher bands. To improve, try to elaborate on specific concepts from the book and provide more concrete examples of how your daily routine changed beyond just 'cooking at home'.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The letter is logically organized with a clear introduction, body, and conclusion. You use basic cohesive devices such as 'Additionally' and 'In order to' to link your ideas. However, the flow between sentences is sometimes mechanical, and the paragraphing could be more effective. For example, the second paragraph is quite dense and covers multiple distinct points that could be better separated. To reach a higher band, focus on using a wider variety of cohesive devices (e.g., 'consequently', 'furthermore', 'in light of this') and ensure that each paragraph has a clear, singular focus to improve the overall progression of your argument.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.0

You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using terms like 'sustainable', 'attain', and 'disorders'. However, there are several instances of awkward word choice and minor errors, such as 'influence I had' (instead of 'influence the book had on me'), 'sustainable patter' (likely meant 'pattern'), and 'consist the benefits' (should be 'consists of'). These errors do not impede communication, but they do limit the precision of your writing. To improve, focus on learning common collocations and ensuring that words are used in their correct grammatical form.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

You use a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, which is a good start. However, there are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text, such as 'The book is about focus on relax' (should be 'focuses on relaxation'), 'it consist the benefits' (should be 'it consists of the benefits'), and 'Mainly youngsters can influence with this book' (should be 'can be influenced by'). These errors are noticeable and occur frequently, though they do not prevent the reader from understanding your message. To reach a higher band, you need to improve your control over verb forms, prepositions, and passive voice constructions.
