Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing to include my contribution as a reader for your magazine in an article called The book that influenced me most. I would like to mention about the book name Mahabharat. This book was about the histroy of two beliefs one was doing good to people However, other was doing harm to the humans. And the behaviour of all person changed accordingly.
It influenced me in a several ways. Firstly, the intresting story line and the characters. Which played a huge impact on society. Secondly, the mystery about two brothers regarding the war and how they build plans to conquer the throne. Moreover, god krishna helped one man with the good heart and was against the person who was villian. This reflects the win of humanity on evil.
I think this book will play very vital role in readers life as it will make them good person and always keep them going on right path without any wrong doings. The same person will start believing in god and their blessings.
I would like to read more books from your creation.
Your Sincerely,

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
You have addressed all three bullet points required by the task. You described the book, explained its influence, and discussed its potential impact on others. However, the development of these ideas is somewhat limited. For instance, the explanation of how the book influenced you is quite general and lacks specific personal reflection or depth. The description of the plot is also a bit fragmented, making it difficult for a reader unfamiliar with the text to grasp the core narrative. To improve, try to provide more concrete examples of how the book changed your perspective or daily life, rather than just stating that it had an impact.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The letter is organised into clear paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. You use some basic cohesive devices like 'Firstly', 'Secondly', and 'Moreover' to link your ideas. However, the flow between sentences is sometimes disjointed. For example, the transition between the book's plot and its influence is abrupt. Additionally, some sentences are grammatically incomplete or poorly connected, such as 'Which played a huge impact on society', which is a sentence fragment. Improving the use of linking words and ensuring that each sentence is a complete, well-connected thought will enhance the overall coherence of your writing.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
Your vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, allowing you to communicate your main points clearly. You use some topic-specific words like 'conquer', 'throne', and 'humanity'. However, there are instances of awkward phrasing and word choice, such as 'I would like to mention about the book name' (should be 'I would like to mention the book') and 'from your creation' (which is not a natural collocation). To reach a higher band, focus on using more precise vocabulary and common collocations, and avoid repeating simple words like 'good' or 'person' too frequently.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
You demonstrate a mix of simple and some complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text. Issues include incorrect article usage ('the histroy', 'the win of humanity on evil'), subject-verb agreement, and sentence fragments ('Which played a huge impact on society'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with the use of full stops where commas or conjunctions would be more appropriate. While these errors do not completely prevent understanding, they occur often enough to distract the reader. Focusing on basic sentence construction and proofreading for subject-verb agreement will help improve your accuracy.
