The book mainly focuses on how to live a balanced and meaningful life. It discusses important areas such as relationships, work, health and personal growth. Through simple stories and practical advice, the author explains how people can deal with problems, manage their emotions and maintain a positive attitude towards life.

This book had a significant influence on me because it changed the way I deal with difficult situations. Before reading it, I used to worry too much about things that were beyond my control. The book taught ne to focus on what I can change and appriciate the people and opportunities around me not only this, but also I learnt about how to balance professional and personal life together.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 7.5

The response successfully covers all requirements of the prompt. You fully address the article's theme by introducing 'Lifes's Amazing Secrets' by Gaur Gopal Das. You clearly describe the book's contents, explaining how it focuses on a balanced lifestyle, relationships, and emotional management. Furthermore, you effectively explain how the book influenced you by changing the way you handle difficult situations and teaching you to focus on elements within your control. Finally, you provide a sound judgment on whether it would influence others, specifically targeting stressed individuals. All bullet points are well-developed and supported with relevant details, demonstrating a strong understanding of the task requirements.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 7.0

Your letter is logically organised with a clear overall progression. Each paragraph serves a distinct purpose, moving smoothly from the introduction of the book to its contents, personal influence, and potential impact on others. Cohesive devices such as 'Through simple stories', 'Before reading it', and 'not only this, but also' are used to connect ideas effectively, although some transitions like 'not only this, but also' are slightly awkward. Paragraphing is used appropriately to separate each main point, and referencing throughout the letter remains clear and easy to follow.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.5

You demonstrate a sufficient range of vocabulary with some attempts at less common items such as 'motivational speaker', 'significant influence', and 'professional and personal life'. However, there are a few spelling and typographical errors, such as 'Lifes's' instead of 'Life's', 'appriciate' instead of 'appreciate', and 'espicially' instead of 'especially'. There is also a slight lexical slip in the phrase 'deal with balance lifestyle', which should be 'maintain a balanced lifestyle'. Despite these minor flaws, your vocabulary is adequate to convey your ideas clearly and precisely.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 7.0

The letter displays a good mix of simple and complex sentence forms. You successfully employ complex structures such as 'Before reading it, I used to worry too much about things that were beyond my control' and 'I believe this book could positively influence many other people, espicially those who are experiencing stress'. Grammatical control is generally good, though there are occasional errors like 'taught ne' (typo for 'me') and the slightly awkward phrasing in 'learnt about how to balance professional and personal life together'. Punctuation is mostly accurate, and these occasional errors do not impede communication at all.
