Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address all three requested points: you identify the book as a vampire romance, describe its central relationship and ending, and explain that it taught you that love is not limited by identity. The personal response is relevant, and the reader can understand why the story mattered to you. However, the description of what the book is about is more developed than the explanation of its influence on your own life; this is mostly expressed as admiration and a general lesson. The claim that it could influence “upcoming generation” is also broad and would be stronger with a specific reason or example. Develop these points further and make the book’s title clear to give the editor a fuller contribution.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The letter has a clear overall arrangement: an opening, a paragraph describing the book, a paragraph explaining your interest, and a closing that considers its effect on others. Sequencing words such as “First” and “Furthermore” help show how ideas relate. Some connections, however, feel mechanical or unclear. For example, “I am writing this letter to express my opinion regarding your article” does not lead directly into the book, while “Also, this book will also” repeats the same linking idea. References such as “the end” and “there child” could be made clearer. Use more direct transitions and ensure each paragraph develops one main point smoothly.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “vampire,” “lifestyle,” “mesmerizing,” and “identity,” and the reader can follow your main ideas. There is also an attempt to use expressive language, as in “I always vividly remember.” However, several word choices and collocations are inaccurate or unnatural, such as “keen interest for reading,” “rode whole the parts,” and “love never discriminate with identity.” “Twilights” also does not clearly identify the book’s title. These choices sometimes make the message less precise, even though its general meaning remains understandable. Aim for natural phrases and check the exact title and word forms before submitting.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including a sentence beginning “First, the story…” and one using “Furthermore,” so there is some variety. The main message is generally understandable, but some grammatical errors affect clarity and control. For example, “I am Shweta Nimkar, who is having” has an awkward relative clause and tense, while “I was rode” uses an incorrect verb form. There are also agreement and article problems in “love never discriminate” and “a Hollywood vampire love story book,” as well as punctuation issues where sentences run together. Practise accurate past-tense forms and subject–verb agreement, and separate ideas with full stops.
