Dear Editor,

Hope you are doing well. I am writing this letter in response to your

invitation to readers to share their experiences of books that have had profound influenced on their lives. The book I would like to recommend is The Powe of Healthy Living, which focuses on the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

The book explains how simple daily daily habits , such as eating balanced diet, excercising regularly, getting enough sleep and drinking planty of water , can improve physical and mental well-being.It also provides advice on avoiding unhealthy food and managing stress in our busy lives.

I believe this book could also have a positive influence on other readers , particularly those who lead busy lives. This will help others to adopt healthy habits to improve quality of life .

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to share mr experience with your readers.

Yours faithfully,

ABC

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You identify the book and explain its subject, and you give a relevant reason it may benefit other readers: it could help busy people adopt healthier habits. However, the task’s personal element is not fully addressed. You do not explain specifically how the book influenced you; “share my experience” is mentioned only in the closing, without describing a change in your own behaviour or outlook. The likely influence on others is also stated briefly rather than supported with an example. To make the response more complete, describe one practical change the book prompted in your life, then explain why readers in similar circumstances might respond to it.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The letter has a clear overall arrangement: an opening, a paragraph describing the book, a paragraph about its potential effect on readers, and a closing. This makes the main information easy to follow. Some links between ideas are basic, however, and the personal influence section is missing, so the progression from describing the book to discussing its impact feels incomplete. There are also small cohesion and presentation issues, such as the repeated “daily” and inconsistent spacing around punctuation, which interrupt the flow. Develop the paragraphs around the three requested points and use clear references such as “This advice” or “As a result” to connect the book’s content with its effects.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You use a suitable range of topic vocabulary, including “healthy lifestyle,” “physical and mental well-being,” and “managing stress,” which helps communicate the book’s subject. There are also attempts at more formal phrasing, such as “profound influence” and “adopt healthy habits.” However, several spelling and word-choice errors reduce accuracy: “Powe,” “excercising,” “planty,” and “mr” appear in the letter, while “profound influenced” is an inaccurate form. Some wording is also repetitive, particularly “healthy” and “habits.” Proofread carefully and choose precise collocations; for example, write “had a profound influence” and vary repeated terms with expressions such as “wellness practices.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 6.0

You use both simple sentences and a more developed sentence listing the book’s advice, and the main meaning remains clear. The sentence beginning “The book explains how…” shows an attempt to combine several related ideas effectively. Some grammatical errors remain, especially with articles and sentence boundaries: “eating balanced diet” needs an article, and “well-being.It” needs a space after the full stop. The opening “Hope you are doing well” is also an informal fragment rather than a complete sentence. Aim to check articles and punctuation, and include a few accurate complex sentences that explain cause and effect, such as how following the advice changed your own routine.
