Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5

You address all three points: you identify Atomic Habits, describe its focus on small habits and personal development, explain changes in your confidence and routine, and say it could guide other people. The personal example—“I made rountine and gained my lost confidence”—helps make the influence clear. The description of the book and its likely effect on readers is less fully developed, however: the claims that it is valuable “for all age group” and gives “positive result” are broad and would benefit from a specific reason or example. The letter format and purpose are clear. To strengthen the response further, explain one key idea from the book and show how it could apply to a particular kind of reader.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5

The letter has a clear overall arrangement: an opening that states its purpose, a paragraph about the book, one about its personal influence, and a concluding recommendation. Connectors such as “However,” “Furthermore,” and “As result” help signal the development of ideas. Some links are mechanical or unclear, though. For example, “Although, this book will give guidance” does not form a complete contrast, and the final recommendation moves quickly between confidence, age groups, and simple language. The paragraph breaks are useful, but the closing could bring these points together more smoothly. Use linking expressions only where the relationship is clear, and make each paragraph develop one main point in a logical sequence.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You use relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “personal development,” “confidence,” “guidance,” and “spiritual and religious,” so the reader can understand the main message. There is some attempt to express ideas beyond basic description, but the range and control are uneven. Phrases such as “small habits that can create big change,” “great impact on my personality,” and “positive result” are understandable but broad or unnatural in this context. Spelling and word-form errors, including “displine,” “rountine,” and “Inadditional,” also reduce accuracy. Aim for more precise collocations and check spelling carefully; for example, describe the book as showing how small habits can lead to lasting change, rather than relying on repeated general terms such as “great” and “positive.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more developed sentence forms, including the contrast in “Before, reading this book I used to doubt my ability … However, when I started reading this book…”. The main ideas remain understandable, but errors occur in several sentence patterns and sometimes make the reader pause. For example, “This books primary focus is on this small habits” has problems with possessive form, agreement, and articles, while “Inadditional, teaches…” lacks a clear subject. Other examples include “I become more spiritual” and “As result,” where the verb form and article are not controlled. Practise building complete sentences with an explicit subject and verb, and check tense consistency when describing past changes versus the book’s general message.
