It is undeniable fact that, people want to explore the world while some people does not go too far from their birth place. They like to live in the comfort zone. This trend has advantages and disadvantages and in following paragraphs I will explain both.

On the one hand, most people spend their lives living close where they were born because they know everything about that area. Furthermore, they find everything convenient and time consuming. It has benefits such as, this type of environment is reduces their mental stress. Additionally, they are able to take care of their parents and in an urgent situation they reach there in short time. For instance, people are living in near birth place get more job opportunities than other because they know the strategy of business.

On the other hand, there are some drawbacks if people spend whole life near place where they born. They are not able to compete with others because they don’t have enough knowledge about outside the city. They find everything difficult when try to find job in modern cities. Living in same city could not enhance the information about new things and it is problematic those people. Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5

The response addresses all parts of the prompt: reasons for staying, advantages, and disadvantages. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. For instance, the claim that people living near their birthplace know 'the strategy of business' is vague and lacks logical support. Similarly, the disadvantages are mentioned but not fully explored with specific examples. While the position is clear, the arguments remain at a surface level, preventing the essay from reaching a higher band. To improve, you should expand on your points with more detailed explanations and concrete examples to demonstrate a deeper understanding of the topic.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5

The essay is organised into logical paragraphs, with a clear introduction, body paragraphs for advantages and disadvantages, and a conclusion. Cohesive devices such as 'On the one hand', 'Furthermore', and 'In conclusion' are used to guide the reader. However, some transitions feel mechanical, and the flow between sentences is occasionally interrupted by grammatical errors. For example, the phrase 'It has benefits such as, this type of environment is reduces' is awkward and disrupts the logical flow. Improving the variety of linking words and ensuring they are used with greater precision will help enhance the overall coherence of your writing.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.0

The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks the range and precision required for higher bands. You rely on basic terms like 'good' or 'bad' (implied) and repeat simple structures. There are also some word-choice inaccuracies, such as 'time consuming' when you likely meant 'time-saving' or 'convenient', and 'affects on children future' (should be 'affects children's future'). To improve, try to incorporate more sophisticated vocabulary related to the topic, such as 'social mobility', 'cultural familiarity', or 'professional development', and ensure you are using collocations correctly to convey your meaning more naturally.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0

The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede clarity. Common issues include subject-verb agreement ('some people does not'), article usage ('in near birth place'), and awkward phrasing ('it is problematic those people'). While the meaning is generally understandable, these persistent errors prevent the text from demonstrating the control required for a higher band. Focusing on basic grammar rules, such as pluralisation, verb tense consistency, and the correct use of prepositions, will significantly improve the accuracy and professional quality of your writing.
