Firstly, many people spend their whole life where they are born because they feel comfort, secure and safe environment. In addition it also provides mental and physical support to them from local well known people.

It provides lots of benefits such as safe and secure environment where they can spend whole life. Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5

The essay addresses all parts of the prompt: reasons for staying in one's birthplace, and the advantages and disadvantages. However, the development of ideas is somewhat repetitive and lacks depth. For instance, the 'advantages' section repeats the concepts of 'safe and secure environment' multiple times without adding new insights. The 'disadvantages' section is also slightly confused, as it mentions 'limited growth' but then shifts to discussing why people move, rather than fully exploring the negative consequences of staying. To reach a higher band, you should aim to provide more distinct, well-supported arguments for each point rather than restating the same ideas.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5

The essay is organized into clear paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or repetitive. Phrases like 'In addition' and 'For instance' are used, but the logical flow between sentences is sometimes disjointed. For example, the transition between the discussion of advantages and the disadvantages is abrupt. Additionally, some referencing is unclear, such as the phrase 'it also give secure and private environment' in the third paragraph, which seems to contradict the previous point about limited growth. Improving the variety of linking words and ensuring each sentence builds logically on the previous one would enhance coherence.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.0

The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks the range and precision required for higher bands. You rely on basic descriptors like 'big opportunities' and 'good' (implied). There are also some awkward collocations and word choices, such as 'local belongings' and 'get comfort to the local weather'. While the meaning is generally clear, the lack of more sophisticated or precise vocabulary limits the score. To improve, try to incorporate more topic-specific collocations related to migration, career development, and social stability, and focus on using words in their correct context.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0

The essay contains a mix of simple and some attempted complex sentence structures. However, there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede the flow. Common issues include subject-verb agreement ('many individual spend', 'person born, they might get'), missing articles ('in modern world'), and incorrect verb forms ('it also give'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with comma usage. While the errors do not completely prevent understanding, they are frequent enough to be noticeable throughout the text. Focusing on basic subject-verb agreement and article usage would significantly improve the accuracy of your writing.
