It is true that humans like to live in their neighbourhood. A majority of people prefer to spend their whole lives living in the nearby area where they were born. The cause behind this situation is that they know people and the area around them, and it has not only benefits but also some negative effects; all the aspects are explained in the following paragraphs.

First and foremost, individuals already know the people and the neighbourhood because they have spent a long time there. In addition, people do not have to struggle for anything there due to thay get aid from everybody, and they already know different areas where they can easily apply for jobs, and they can also get references there, which allows them to live a peaceful and better life. To cite an example, a survey illustrates that people struggle less in the place where they were born compared to migrants. Hence, it is evident that it is better to live at same place where people were born for better life.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 7.0

The response addresses all parts of the prompt: reasons for staying in one's birthplace, as well as the advantages and disadvantages. The ideas are relevant and generally well-developed, though some points, such as the 'survey' examples, are vague and lack specific detail. The position is clear throughout, and the structure follows a logical progression. To reach a higher band, ensure that examples are more concrete and avoid repetitive phrasing when discussing the benefits and drawbacks.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 7.0

The essay is logically organized with clear paragraphing. Each paragraph has a central theme, and cohesive devices such as 'To commence with', 'Apart from this', and 'Nevertheless' are used to guide the reader. However, some transitions feel slightly mechanical, and there are instances where referencing is unclear, such as the phrase 'in order to that' which disrupts the flow. Improving the variety of linking words and ensuring smoother transitions between sentences would enhance the overall coherence.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.5

The vocabulary is adequate for the task, allowing the writer to express ideas clearly. There are attempts to use less common vocabulary, but some word choices are imprecise or awkward, such as 'do not have to do affects' or 'born to death life'. Spelling errors like 'thay' (they), 'leaning' (learning), and 'thier' (their) occur throughout the text. While these do not impede communication, they indicate a need for more careful proofreading and a wider range of precise collocations.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.5

The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. However, there are frequent grammatical errors, particularly with verb forms, subject-verb agreement, and preposition usage (e.g., 'people are more happy who spend', 'stay a place', 'which will affects'). While the meaning remains clear, these persistent errors prevent the essay from reaching a higher band. Focusing on sentence construction and ensuring consistent tense usage would significantly improve the accuracy of the writing.
