It has been observed that few individuals likes to spend their whole life where they have brought up. There can be some causes behind it and both the merits as well as demerits are elaborated in the ensuing write-up.

Discussing the root cause of this trend situation. One of the causes can be their choices of parents, parents are always connected to their children's they fear losing them .Other reason can be people love their own city or nation first results them staying where they were born.

Discussing the advantages, the foremost one is it gives the opportunity to individuals to stay with their parents .By this i mean, they always have someone with them to look after if anything goes wrong whom they can trust easily. Additionally, they can always stay connected to their roots and religion. To be more precise, when people are staying in their own country, they will follow the roots as they feel connected to their nation. For instance, people moving to different places gives them the freedom to do anything and can start having bad habits such as drugs, smoking and drinking.

In contrast, there are few drawbacks too. The most common one is individuals won't get the chance to see the world .This is to say, all the nation have their different culture, roots and it's own beauty. Most importantly, there are so many employment chances that they might loose. Moreover, they will always try to be in their safe zone. As they stay with their parents , individuals would not know the importance of being independent. For example, people are moving in different country's and managing their life by their own. This helps them to be more independent and strong.

To reformulate, people choosing to stay where they are brought up have some reasons associated and also some pros and cons.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

The response addresses all parts of the prompt: reasons for staying in one's birthplace, and the advantages and disadvantages. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. For instance, the explanation of why parents influence this decision is vague, and the argument regarding 'bad habits' as a disadvantage of moving is a generalization that lacks nuance. While the response covers the requirements, the ideas could be expanded with more specific examples or deeper analysis to reach a higher band. The position is clear, but the overall depth of the response remains at a functional level.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, each with a clear focus. There is a basic attempt at using cohesive devices such as 'Additionally', 'In contrast', and 'To reformulate'. However, the flow between sentences is sometimes mechanical, and some transitions are slightly awkward, such as 'Discussing the root cause of this trend situation.' Referencing is occasionally unclear, and the internal structure of paragraphs could be improved to better link ideas. Despite these issues, the progression of the argument is easy to follow throughout the text.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

The vocabulary is adequate for the task but lacks variety and precision. There are several instances of word-choice errors or awkward phrasing, such as 'where they have brought up' (should be 'where they were brought up') and 'all the nation have their different culture' (should be 'all nations have their own cultures'). The student relies on common, simple vocabulary. To improve, the student should aim to use more precise collocations and a wider range of academic vocabulary to express complex ideas more effectively.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors. Common issues include subject-verb agreement ('few individuals likes'), article usage ('in different country's'), and tense inconsistencies. While these errors do not prevent the reader from understanding the message, they are frequent enough to impact the overall fluency of the writing. The student needs to focus on basic grammatical accuracy, particularly with pluralization and verb forms, before attempting more complex sentence structures.
