In this contemporary era, a number of individuals love to stay for their whole life where they actually grown up, instead of moving far away from their birth place. There could be a numerous causes regarding this phenomenon which I will discuss in my forthcoming paragraphs along with its pros and cons.
To commence with, each and every person has distinct viewpoints to live a life in a unique and comfortable way. There are a myriad of people who desire to spend most of their lives residing near to where they were born. First and foremost reason could be that they feel a sense of security and emotional support from their loved ones such as their family members and childhood friends. Secondly, they are more familiar with their cultural background and language as well as they love to celebrate festivals and special occasion like birthdays, anniversaries in their hometown, instead of going away from their comfort zone. Therefore, these are the causes why people choose to live in their hometown.
Furthermore, the prime benefits people can have by living close to the place where were born, they will be more connected with their culture, family members and friends. To elaborate on this, if individuals choose to reside in their hometown, they will spend most of their time in taking care of their parents which give emotional strength, in addition, it is quite essential in this hectic generation. Moreover, they can know the value of their culture which is also a really important factor for the upcoming youth. Nevertheless, there are some drawbacks of this trend. people will be bounded in their safe zone and will never be able to face harsh obstacles in their life. Additionally, they could not be able to broaden their horizon of knowledge regarding how to communicate with different kinds of people as well as they will not grab any information about different cultures in this globe.
In conclusion, although there is no doubt that people love to spend their lives close to their birth place because of the sense of security and family support, but these can hinder their development in gathering knowledge about different cultures and how to communicate with diverse people in this world.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5
The response addresses all parts of the prompt: reasons, advantages, and disadvantages are all covered. The ideas are relevant, such as emotional security for reasons, cultural connection for advantages, and limited personal growth for disadvantages. However, the development is somewhat superficial. For instance, the explanation of why staying in one's hometown limits one's 'horizon of knowledge' could be more deeply explored with specific examples. The position is clear throughout, and the structure is logical. To reach a higher band, ensure that each point is supported by more detailed reasoning or specific examples rather than just stating the point.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 7.0
The essay is logically organized with a clear introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion. Paragraphing is used appropriately to separate different themes. Cohesive devices such as 'To commence with', 'Furthermore', and 'Nevertheless' are used to guide the reader. However, some transitions feel slightly mechanical, and there are minor issues with referencing, such as 'these are the causes' which refers back to a list that could be more tightly integrated. Overall, the progression of ideas is clear, and the essay is easy to follow.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task. You use some good phrases like 'contemporary era', 'hometown', and 'broaden their horizon'. However, there are some inaccuracies in collocation and word choice, such as 'a number of individuals love to stay for their whole life where they actually grown up' (should be 'grew up') and 'in this hectic generation' (which is slightly awkward). Some phrasing is repetitive, and there is a lack of more sophisticated, less common lexical items that would demonstrate a wider range. Improving precision in word choice will help elevate your score.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
The essay demonstrates a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the meaning is always clear, there are frequent grammatical errors, particularly with verb tenses and subject-verb agreement, such as 'where they actually grown up' instead of 'grew up' and 'they could not be able to' instead of 'they would not be able to'. Punctuation is generally functional, but there are some run-on sentences and minor errors in article usage. To improve, focus on ensuring consistent tense usage and refining the accuracy of complex sentence structures.
