Student answer (Band 5.5)
Few people are tend to live in the same area where they were born. This essay will discussed what are the advantages and disadvantages for this and I will mention my opinion as well.
On the one hand, Few people living in the same area where they born beacause from the birth, they are living in the same place so they became very familiar with the area. They are living in their comfort zone so they do not want to leave that community. Second possible reason is, Living in the same community for more years they have lots of friend living in that community so, this could be possible reason they do not want to leave this area.
On the other hand, There are very less disadvantages to not leave the same area they are used to live since their born. Such as, if their relative live far from this place they need to travel more. As result they need to spend more on fuel, hotels booking and so many. Moreover, if they are stuck in their comfort zone it is very hard to move out. If some emegency situation happen and they have to leave area it becomes very difficult for them to settellize everything.
To conlude, It is not wrong to live in the same area where you born. From my point of view, never stuck in your comfort zone it will take so many years to famaliarise with new area of living. So you have to buy one more property which is located far from your private house and every two to three months people have spend time in that house.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses all parts of the prompt, including reasons, advantages, and disadvantages. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited and repetitive. For instance, the discussion on 'comfort zones' is mentioned in both the reasons and the disadvantages sections without significant expansion. The position is clear, but the arguments lack depth and specific examples, which prevents the essay from reaching a higher band. The conclusion introduces a new, slightly confusing suggestion about buying a second property, which is not well-integrated into the overall argument.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or inaccurate. Phrases like 'Second possible reason is,' and 'As result' are used to link ideas, but they do not always flow naturally. Referencing is sometimes unclear, such as in the phrase 'to not leave the same area they are used to live since their born,' which makes the logical progression difficult to follow. Paragraphing is present but the internal structure of the paragraphs lacks sophisticated transitions.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is basic and repetitive, often relying on simple phrasing. There are several word-choice errors and non-standard collocations, such as 'settellize everything' and 'since their born.' While the meaning is generally conveyed, the range of vocabulary is limited, and there is little attempt to use less common or more precise lexical items. Spelling errors, such as 'emegency,' 'famaliarise,' and 'conlude,' are frequent enough to be noticeable, though they do not completely impede communication.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay contains a high frequency of grammatical errors, including issues with subject-verb agreement ('Few people are tend to'), article usage, and sentence structure. Many sentences are simple or contain errors that affect clarity, such as 'There are very less disadvantages to not leave the same area.' While the writer attempts some complex structures, these are often marred by errors, such as 'if some emegency situation happen and they have to leave area it becomes very difficult.' The control of grammar is inconsistent throughout the text.
