In most scenarios we have seen people tend to stay close to the place where they are born. Some people can agree and some can contradict that living close to the place you born comes with advantages and disadvantages.

Firstly, We will talk some advantages for living close to the place we are born. In my opinion we get comfortable for the place because people spent their whole childhood at that place. You tend to grow a family which supports you in your ups and downs, which make a person more confident. A lot of things are taken under consideration because it needs a strong mind and strong emotion to shift places. Starting everything form scratch For instance: Finding a new home , new friend, new spot where you can hang out.

Now let’s talk about some disadvantages of living close to the place we were born. One have to leave his home to grow and learn. Living far helps you make more independent because at the end we have to manage things independently. Someone is living in a rural area might not get that much opportunity which s/he might get in a city or developed area.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

The response addresses all parts of the prompt: reasons, advantages, and disadvantages. However, the development is somewhat superficial. For example, the reasons for staying are limited to comfort and family support, and the disadvantages are briefly mentioned as a lack of opportunity. The ideas are relevant but lack depth and specific elaboration. The position is clear, but the essay would benefit from more detailed examples beyond the personal anecdote about moving to Canada. To reach a higher band, you should expand on the 'reasons' section, perhaps discussing economic stability or cultural ties, and provide more nuanced arguments for the advantages and disadvantages.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, each with a clear focus. There is a basic attempt at using cohesive devices such as 'Firstly,' 'Now let’s talk about,' and 'For instance.' However, the flow between sentences is sometimes mechanical, and the transition between ideas could be smoother. The use of referencing is occasionally unclear, such as in the sentence 'One have to leave his home,' where the pronoun usage is inconsistent. Paragraphing is present, but the internal structure of the paragraphs could be improved by using a wider variety of linking words to connect supporting ideas to the main points.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

The vocabulary is adequate for the task but lacks variety and precision. You rely on simple, repetitive phrasing such as 'place where you are born' and 'living close.' There are some inaccuracies in word choice, such as 'we get comfortable for the place' (should be 'comfortable with') and 'someone is living in a rural area' (should be 'someone living'). While the meaning is generally clear, the range of vocabulary is limited, and there is little evidence of less common lexical items or idiomatic expressions that would demonstrate a higher level of proficiency.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede the flow. Examples include subject-verb agreement issues ('One have to leave'), missing articles ('moved to canada'), and awkward phrasing ('Starting everything form scratch'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with capitalization and spacing. While the meaning is usually understandable, the frequency of these errors prevents the writing from reaching a higher band. Focusing on basic subject-verb agreement and consistent capitalization would significantly improve the clarity of your writing.
