Student answer (Band 5.0)
Some people related strongly with their countries. They spend all their lives close to where they were born.
In the next paragraphs I will shed some light on the benefits and the drawbacks of this view.
First of all, lets discuss the reasons of spending their lives in their hometown, I think it might be that they have a healthy reasons that prevent them for instance, they apply a private remedy and they should continue it. Secondly, maybe they did not get an excellent chance to move to another country such as low salary or good position in their career.
To discuss the advantages of being related to their hometown, they keep close to their families and friends, because sometimes they need their attend. Additionally, they enjoyed with strong relationships with people they know for a long time.
Another benefit, they have a strong features as a citizen for business, especially when they want to make their own business. For example if they want to take a loan from any bank it is more easier than being in another country.
In the second hand, there are many disadvantages of staying in their hometown. The first drawback is that people do not learn any new languages that prevent them to contact with the different people.
The second drawback is they keep their business locally not internationally.
In conclusion, there are a reasons let the people spend their lives where they were born and that lead to advantages such as grew their work and be close to family and friends, and disadvantages as stay locally. In my opinion it is important to keep clous to where you were born.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response addresses all parts of the prompt, including reasons, advantages, and disadvantages. However, the development of ideas is limited. For instance, the explanation regarding 'private remedy' is unclear and lacks logical connection to the topic. The advantages and disadvantages are mentioned but remain somewhat superficial; for example, the point about 'business' is relevant but lacks sufficient elaboration or specific examples to fully support the argument. To improve, you should provide more detailed explanations and concrete examples for each point to demonstrate a deeper engagement with the topic.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay is organised into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or inaccurate, such as 'In the second hand' instead of 'On the other hand'. Furthermore, the progression of ideas within paragraphs is sometimes disjointed. While there is an attempt to use linking words like 'Additionally' and 'First of all', the flow between sentences is occasionally interrupted by grammatical errors, making the overall coherence feel somewhat strained at times.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks the range and precision required for a higher band. There are several instances of awkward word choice, such as 'need their attend' (likely meaning 'need their attendance/support') and 'grew their work' (likely meaning 'expand their business'). The repetition of basic terms like 'reasons' and 'drawback' limits the sophistication of the writing. To improve, focus on learning collocations and using more precise terminology to express your ideas clearly.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay relies heavily on simple sentence structures. While there are attempts at complex sentences, they are frequently marred by grammatical errors, such as 'there are a reasons let the people' and 'it is more easier'. Subject-verb agreement and article usage are inconsistent throughout the text. Punctuation is also problematic, particularly with comma splices and run-on sentences. To reach a higher band, you need to demonstrate better control over complex structures and reduce the frequency of basic grammatical errors that occasionally impede the reader's understanding.
