Few individuals live their lives very close to the location where they were born. They remember their childhood memories and attached family emotions. The advantage of staying close is that neighbors are familiar, and the disadvantage is that the area is developed.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 4.0
The response fails to meet the minimum word count requirement of 250 words, as it is significantly under-length at 174 words. Consequently, the development of ideas is severely limited. While you identify reasons for staying in one's birthplace, such as childhood memories and family connections, the discussion of advantages and disadvantages is incomplete. The essay ends abruptly in the middle of a sentence, meaning the disadvantages are not addressed at all. To improve, you must ensure all parts of the prompt are fully developed with supporting examples and that you reach the required length to allow for a comprehensive discussion.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay lacks a clear structure. The inclusion of bullet points at the beginning is inappropriate for an IELTS essay. While there is an attempt at paragraphing, the abrupt ending and the lack of a concluding paragraph make the overall progression unclear. Cohesive devices are used sparingly and sometimes incorrectly, such as the phrase 'Other side of advantage is disadvantage', which is unnatural. To improve, focus on using transition words like 'furthermore', 'consequently', or 'however' to link your ideas logically and ensure each paragraph has a clear topic sentence and a proper conclusion.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is quite basic and repetitive. Phrases like 'childhood memories' and 'family emotions' are used, but there is little attempt to use more sophisticated or precise language. Some word choices are awkward, such as 'adorable to all persons' or 'living in abroad'. The range is insufficient to express complex ideas effectively. To improve, try to incorporate more academic collocations and synonyms to avoid repetition and enhance the precision of your writing.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The grammar contains frequent errors that occasionally impede clarity. Examples include 'just to be close where I born' (should be 'where I was born') and 'during any circumstances the neighbors are the first to aid' (which is grammatically awkward). The sentence structures are mostly simple, with limited attempts at complex sentences. Punctuation is also inconsistent. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction, specifically subject-verb agreement and the correct use of prepositions, before attempting more complex grammatical structures.
