Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5

The response addresses all parts of the prompt: reasons, advantages, and disadvantages. However, the development of these ideas is limited. For example, the explanation of why entrepreneurs benefit from staying in their hometown is somewhat repetitive and lacks depth. The examples provided, such as the mention of India and Nepal, are relevant but are not fully integrated into the argument to demonstrate a clear understanding of the topic. The position is clear, but the overall development is basic, and some points are over-generalized. To improve, you should expand on your arguments with more detailed explanations and ensure that the connection between your examples and your main points is more explicit.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The essay is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or inaccurate. For instance, the phrase 'In this an essay' is grammatically incorrect, and the transition 'Since economically this is a huge advantage' is awkward. There is some attempt to use linking words like 'Moreover' and 'Consequently,' but the flow between sentences is occasionally disjointed. The referencing is sometimes unclear, making it difficult to track the subject matter. Improving the variety and accuracy of your linking words and ensuring that each paragraph has a clear, singular focus will help improve the logical progression of your writing.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is sufficient to convey the main ideas, but it is quite limited and repetitive. You rely on basic terms like 'good,' 'bad,' and 'things.' There are also noticeable errors in word choice and collocation, such as 'near by native place' instead of 'near their birthplace' and 'coustmers' (spelling error). The use of 'surviving' in the context of living with family is also slightly unnatural. To reach a higher band, you should aim to use a wider range of vocabulary, including less common lexical items, and pay closer attention to correct word forms and collocations to express your ideas more precisely.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but the accuracy is inconsistent. There are frequent errors in grammar and punctuation that occasionally impede communication, such as 'they are a plethora of reasons' (should be 'there are'), 'no need spend' (missing auxiliary verb), and 'they are not even try' (incorrect verb form). Subject-verb agreement and article usage are also problematic throughout the text. While the meaning is generally clear, the high frequency of errors prevents the essay from reaching a higher band. Focusing on basic sentence construction and proofreading for common grammatical slips would be highly beneficial.
