Student answer (Band 6.0)
It is irrefutable that birth place is the precious part that is why half part of individuals are not ready to leave their place and spend most of their time over there. This paragraphs will be discussed significant cause along with pros and cons of this practice.
To begin with, the most prominent factor is emotional attachement. The palce where people born and brought up is linked with many nostalgic memories. That is why it becomes hard for folks to live somewhere else. For example, countryside community do not want to go anywhere else because they feel more sense of belongings than living in urban areas.Instead of this, stable job and own house are main part of human life. To explain it, people prefer to live their hometown to get rid from the risk of financial burden as nowadays it is hard to find job and pay extra to rent a room or apartment, therefore they do not allow themselves to out of thier comfort zone.
On the other hand, staying in the birthplace makes people confident and strees free, since they live in their community and there is someone with whom they can share thier feelings. For instance, having friend circle around lighten up the mood of folks and and motivate them to face nay kind of challenge in their life. However, it brings less exposure to different cultures and ideas.. To iluustrate it, when they spend major part of life in their local area then they get less chance to know about other part of world, as a result they may develop a narrow worldview and find it difficult to understand people from different backgrounds.
In conclusion, no doubt many responsibilites bound individulas to live nearby thier area but along with there benefits it put bad impact on their carrer growth as well.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses all parts of the prompt by discussing reasons why people stay in their birthplace, as well as the advantages and disadvantages of doing so. A clear position is maintained throughout the essay. However, some ideas lack full extension and development; for instance, the explanation regarding financial stability and the avoidance of rent could be supported by more robust examples. The introduction also contains a slightly unclear thesis statement ("This paragraphs will be discussed significant cause..."). Overall, the response meets the criteria for Band 6.0 as it directly addresses all parts of the task with relevant, albeit slightly under-developed, ideas.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay demonstrates a clear overall progression and logical arrangement, with paragraphs dedicated to reasons, advantages, and disadvantages respectively. Cohesive devices are used to connect ideas, such as "To begin with," "For example," and "On the other hand." However, there are instances where referencing and cohesion are somewhat mechanical or faulty, such as the abrupt transition "Instead of this, stable job and own house are main part of human life." Paragraphing is used appropriately to separate distinct ideas, though some sentences within paragraphs feel disjointed due to minor referencing issues. This performance aligns comfortably with a Band 6.0.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The student uses an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, attempting less common items such as "emotional attachement," "nostalgic memories," and "narrow worldview." However, there are noticeable spelling and word choice errors throughout the text, including "palce" instead of place, "attachement," "streeseed" (implied stress free), and grammatical infelicities like "they do not allow themselves to out of thier comfort zone." Despite these errors, communication is rarely impeded, and the vocabulary remains minimally sufficient to convey the intended meaning, supporting a Band 6.0.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The response exhibits a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, demonstrating some ambition in sentence structures. However, frequent grammatical and mechanical errors are present, including subject-verb agreement issues ("countryside community do not want"), missing articles, and preposition errors ("out of thier comfort zone"). Punctuation and spelling errors also occur regularly (e.g., "thier", "nay", "iluustrate"). While the errors do not severely impede overall communication, their frequency prevents the essay from reaching a higher band. The grammar corresponds to a Band 5.0.
