first and foremost, in the modern era most of the society give their for priority toward their birth place to live because they want to be attach with their old culture and family member. By doing this they can easily spend their more time with their family and they may learn about their culture from their grandparents which helps them to gain hefty sums pf knowledge. for example, grandparent can teach their young family about their culture, festivals and events.

Moreover, there are several advantages to this, society may save their money so they already have their house and all facilities provided by their older parent. they just have to focus on their study to make their future better. Additionally, people can easily spend their free time with their neighbours because they already knows them.

However, there are some disadvantages, living most of the lives at birth place may put negative effect on young generation because they can not become independent, so their grandparents already provide them all amenities to make their life easy but it put bad impact for their future since wothout facing difficulty they may not solve any problem which help them to become independent.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

The response addresses all parts of the task prompt, including the reasons why people stay in their birthplace as well as the advantages and disadvantages. The writer opens by stating their intention to cover these aspects and proceeds to discuss cultural attachment, family support, financial savings as advantages, and a lack of independence as a disadvantage. However, some ideas are somewhat underdeveloped or repetitive, tending towards generalisations without deeper contextual elaboration. For instance, the discussion on independence touches upon grandparents providing amenities, but lacks robust examples. Nevertheless, the main prompts are adequately covered, fulfilling the basic requirements of the task. This aligns well with the Band 6 descriptor where all parts are addressed, though some areas remain under-developed.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The essay displays a coherent overall arrangement with a clear attempt to structure the response using introductory and concluding framing, as well as transition markers like 'first and foremost', 'Moreover', 'However', and 'To conclude'. Paragraphing is utilised to separate the distinct points requested by the prompt. However, referencing is sometimes unclear, and cohesive devices can feel mechanical or repetitive, such as starting multiple paragraphs with standard transition phrases. Furthermore, logical progression within paragraphs occasionally stumbles due to run-on sentences and punctuation issues, notably in the introduction and final paragraphs. This reflects the characteristics of Band 6, where the overall arrangement is coherent, but cohesion within and between sentences is sometimes faulty.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The student attempts to use a range of vocabulary suitable for the topic, incorporating terms such as 'cultural', 'festivals', 'amenities', and 'independent'. However, there are numerous lexical and collocational errors throughout the text, such as 'birth place' instead of birthplace, 'corns' instead of cons/disadvantages, 'for priority' instead of top priority, 'attach' instead of attached, and 'hefty sums pf knowledge'. Spelling mistakes also occur, such as 'oppurtunities' and 'carrey'. While the vocabulary used is minimally adequate to convey the general message, these frequent inaccuracies in word choice and spelling place the response firmly in Band 5.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The response demonstrates a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, attempting complex structures through subordinate clauses and conjunctions. However, grammatical accuracy is weak, with frequent errors in punctuation, capitalization, subject-verb agreement, and prepositions. Examples include lowercase beginnings of sentences and the pronoun 'i', as well as awkward phrasing like 'few individual spend' instead of few individuals spend, 'they like live' instead of they like living, and 'wothout facing difficulty'. These errors frequently cause strain for the reader and disrupt the flow of communication, matching the profile of a Band 5 response where frequent errors in grammar persist and control is inconsistent.
