Student answer (Band 5.0)
Most of the people want to live where they are born and raised, due to the fact that they become attached to everything where they born and lived. I am partially agree with this statement because where it has some advantages it also has some disadvantages too.
From my perspective, living close to where you were born places huge impact on people. They born at a place and live their life there. Then they will know a lot of people and become friendly to them. We can easily trust the people we lived with. In some cases of help or gratitude they will be with us as our family and console us. For an instance, if someone is spending most of the time with some people then if he becomes old they will help him in case of need.
The main reason for living at one place is the peaceful environment, people's love, their gratitude, and their caring nature.
While placing a look on its disadvantages, living on one place for a long time can make a person hectic. He could not know about other people's opinion and influence them. He will become limited to that place and be unaware of world's beauty and its knowledge. Which if he go out of that place then he will see different type of people doing different thing.
Living on one place has advantages and disadvantages too. Sometimes due to any incident if he has to live away from that place he will starting missing that place and could not enjoy his time at a new place. It will effect him. Moreover, we should have to go for a trip or some other to know the world.
Taking everything into account, living at one place most of the time gave many advantage to the people.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
The response attempts to address all parts of the prompt by discussing reasons for living close to one's birthplace, as well as the advantages and disadvantages. However, the development of ideas is often limited and repetitive. For example, the reasons given focus mostly on a peaceful environment and community support, but these are not fully extended with concrete examples. The writer includes a partial opinion in the introduction ("I am partially agree with this statement"), but the exploration of advantages and disadvantages tends to blur together. While the prompt is addressed, the overall depth of argumentation aligns best with Band 5.0.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The essay displays some basic organizational structure with an introduction and a concluding remark, but paragraphing is weak and fails to logically separate distinct ideas. For instance, single-sentence paragraphs appear, such as "The main reason for living at one place is the peaceful environment...", which disrupts the flow. Cohesive devices are frequently repetitive or mechanical, such as the repeated use of "living on one place" and transitional phrases like "Moreover" and "Taking everything into account." Progression is difficult to discern in places due to abrupt shifts between advantages, disadvantages, and reasons, placing this criterion at Band 5.0.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
The vocabulary used is somewhat limited and repetitive throughout the text, relying heavily on basic terms like "people," "place," "life," and "time." There are noticeable word-choice and collocation errors, such as "places huge impact on people" instead of "places a huge impact" or "has a huge impact," and "starting missing" instead of "start missing." The writer attempts some less common phrasing, but inaccuracies cause some difficulty for the reader and prevent the score from reaching a higher band. The lexical range is minimally adequate for the task.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The essay contains a mix of simple and attempted complex sentence structures, but many of these attempts are faulty. Examples of grammatical errors include "They born at a place" (missing auxiliary verb) and "Which if he go out of that place then he will see..." (fragmented and ungrammatical clause structure). Punctuation and subject-verb agreement errors are frequent, such as "Most of the people want..." paired with "where they born." These frequent errors cause strain for the reader and clearly reflect the Band 5.0 descriptors.
