Many individuals spend their life close to their birthplace. This practice has considerable factors behind it, and arguably it brings its own pros and cons. This essay will look into all factors and its related advantages and disadvantges.
Proximity to relatives and friends is one of the significant factor people love to reside near their birthplaces. Exposure to multiple challenges of moving to a newer place is a critical force stopping people to move out and risk it. Economics and livelihood of a family also plays a pivotal role in forcing individuals to spend life near to their family run business and setups. Moreover, it assists to cater the catastrophic ubran expansion, which has a hug impact on a city infrastructure. Furthermore, many family run businesses are passed through generations and technical know-how of such businesses helps to grow businessess more organically if the family members are giving their due time to it by living nearby.

Although, a social bond is critical to a society well-being, an ecomomically weak society can not thrive and survive in the present times. Individuals get less job and business opportunities by staying closer to their birthplaces only.
In conclusion, a more compromised approach of having socially strong society without having any skill gap or lack of business opportunities is an ideal to look for. This can be achieved through holisitc effoerts at the municpalities and overall country's budget level.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
The response successfully addresses all parts of the prompt, exploring reasons for staying close to one's birthplace as well as the associated advantages and disadvantages. The introduction clearly outlines the intention to discuss factors, pros, and cons. In the body paragraphs, the writer provides reasons such as family proximity, aversion to change, and family-run businesses, followed by advantages like social bonds and mitigated urban expansion, and disadvantages such as skill gaps and limited economic opportunities. Ideas are generally well-supported and extended, although some points like urban expansion could have been elaborated further. The position remains clear throughout, and the conclusion neatly summarises the overall theme. This performance aligns well with the requirements for Band 7.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The essay displays clear logical organisation and progression throughout. Each paragraph has a distinct focus, moving smoothly from the introduction to reasons, advantages, disadvantages, and a final conclusion. Cohesive devices such as 'Moreover', 'Furthermore', and 'In conclusion' are used to connect ideas, although a few transitional expressions feel slightly mechanical or repetitive in structure. Paragraphing is used sufficiently and appropriately to separate the distinct components of the prompt. Referencing is generally clear, and the overall progression keeps the reader oriented. Minor mechanical usage of cohesive markers prevents the response from reaching higher bands, but the current organisation clearly satisfies Band 7 descriptors.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
The student demonstrates an adequate to sufficient range of vocabulary for the task, successfully attempting less common items such as 'catastrophic urban expansion', 'pivotal role', and 'holistic efforts'. However, there are several word choice, collocation, and spelling inaccuracies throughout the text, including 'significant factor' instead of 'factors', 'strong social bound' instead of 'bond', 'neighberhood' (neighbourhood), 'hug' (huge), 'ecomomically' (economically), and 'holisitc effoerts' (holistic efforts). While these errors are noticeable and detract from precision, they do not impede communication, as the writer's core message remains clear. These characteristics place the response firmly in the Band 6 territory.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
The writer uses a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, demonstrating an ability to construct compound and complex clauses (e.g., 'If individuals wouldn't travel outside to learn new skills or study higher education, a society would not be compete the modern world'). However, there are frequent grammatical and punctuation errors throughout the essay, such as subject-verb agreement issues ('is one of the significant factor people love', 'a society would not be compete'), awkward phrasing ('would not be compete'), and preposition misuse ('spend life near to'). Although these errors do not impede overall communication, they occur frequently enough to prevent the response from achieving a Band 7. The control of grammar aligns best with Band 6.
