Student answer (Band 5.5)
Few people argue that some individuals spend their entire life to the place where they are born. I believe that there are several reasons for this, although there are some pros and cons related to this notion that I will discuss in the forthcoming paragraphs.
To commence with, there are numerous reasons for why people stay at their birth place such as emotional connection, financial support and familier environment. To explain this, we someone live at same place from his birth then that person has lot of friends and family members that are emotionally connected to him so the environment is more comfortable for that person. Additionally, they easily get financial support when thet face some difficulties in their life. According to the report of "The Tribune Newspaper", 55% if people wants to stay in India because they have some emotional connections with their hometown.
Furthermore, the first and foremost advantage of living close to birth place is that pople connected to tradition and culture and give value to them. They easily fulfill the needs of their family members and able to do get together and celebrate festivals with relatives and feel happy and connected to each other. According to survey of "World Health Organisation", there are 50% masses who feel safe and happy when they spend time with family and relatives. Thus, people love to spend most of their lives living close to where they were born.
On the contrary, there are also several demerits of living in the place where they are born like, if any person living in countryside area then that person never get good education and better job opportunities that are necessary to get sucess in this present time. Moreover, that kind of masses unable to know about different cultures, traditions and never become dependent. As a result of this, people lost job opportunities.
To conclude, there are some reason why people stay at their birth place such as emotional connection, financial support . Although there are some pros such as connected to tradition and culture, never get good education and better job opportunities

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address both questions by giving reasons for staying near one’s birthplace and discussing advantages and disadvantages. Emotional ties, family support, cultural connection, and limited education or employment opportunities are relevant points. However, the ideas are only partly developed: the claim about financial support is not explained in detail, and the disadvantage about not becoming “dependent” is unclear. The conclusion also does not clearly summarise both sides and ends with an incomplete contrast. The newspaper and survey figures are offered as support, but their relevance and reliability are not established. To strengthen the response, explain each main point with a clear cause-and-effect link or a specific, credible example, and state your overall view more clearly.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, separate paragraphs for reasons and advantages, a paragraph on disadvantages, and a conclusion. Linking expressions such as “Additionally,” “Furthermore,” and “On the contrary” help signal relationships between points. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes difficult to follow, particularly in the sentence beginning “To explain this, we someone live…” and in the final disadvantage paragraph, where the ideas about culture, independence, and jobs are not clearly connected. Some transitions are mechanical, and the conclusion repeats earlier points without bringing them together. Use clearer topic sentences, organise each paragraph around one main idea, and make references such as “that kind of masses” precise so readers can follow the argument.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “emotional connection,” “financial support,” “tradition and culture,” and “job opportunities.” This gives the response enough language to communicate its main themes. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate or unnatural, sometimes making meaning unclear. Examples include “spend their entire life to the place,” “familier environment,” “masses,” and “never become dependent.” There are also spelling errors such as “pople,” “sucess,” and “thet.” Aim for more precise, natural expressions and check spelling carefully; for example, use “remain in their hometown,” “familiar surroundings,” and “local residents.” Avoid using formal-sounding words such as “masses” when a simple, accurate term like “people” is more appropriate.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including clauses introduced by “although,” “if,” and “when.” However, control is inconsistent, and errors in sentence structure, verb forms, agreement, articles, and punctuation frequently interrupt the flow. For example, “we someone live at same place from his birth” has an incomplete and incorrectly formed clause; “people wants” has subject–verb disagreement; and “if any person living in countryside area” lacks a correctly formed verb phrase and articles. The conclusion also contains a sentence fragment: “Although there are some pros such as connected to tradition and culture, never get good education…” Practise building complete sentences with a clear subject and verb, and check agreement and articles before adding longer clauses.
