Student answer (Band 5.5)
It is indeed true that many people wants to spend their whole life where they are born. There are several reason for this owing to family support and comfortable. This trend has several benefits and drawbacks . This essay will further elaborate on the reasons, postive and negative implications of this trend.
There are many reasons why people choose to live close their family. Firstly, they want family support. To elaborate it, they want to live near their family, siblings and friends to share their problems and views regarding their jobs and on daily basis experience.Secondly they know the people and language of their community. Thus, they care their family and their children.
One major advantage of living near where the people were born is that emotional support. To explicate it, people get emotional as well as financial support from their family and friend. for example, my friend living in abroad and there father was expired last week, no one was there to emotionally support him. As a result, people have less stress by living with there family where they were born.
However, there are several disadvantages of this trend. First and foremost, people have less personal growth. To explain this, people have fewer chances to get experience from new things. Moreover, people may also earn less money as well as they become afraid to try new opportunities.
To conclude, people get family support and get family support if they are living near where they are born. Whereas they not only have less personal growth but also didnot get any experience new things by living near the place where they are spend their childhood.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address the reasons, advantages and disadvantages, and your main points are relevant: family support is given as a reason and benefit, while limited personal growth and fewer opportunities are presented as drawbacks. However, these ideas are only partly developed. The explanation about knowing the local community and language is not clearly connected to why people stay, and the example about your friend abroad is difficult to follow and does not fully demonstrate the claimed benefit. The conclusion repeats the main points rather than drawing them together. To strengthen the response, explain each reason and consequence more precisely and use a clear, relevant example to support the less-developed points.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable overall structure, with an introduction, separate paragraphs for reasons and advantages, a paragraph on disadvantages, and a conclusion. Sequencing is generally easy to follow, and signposts such as “Firstly,” “Moreover,” and “To conclude” help identify the stages of the argument. However, some connections are mechanical or unclear. For example, “Thus, they care their family and their children” does not clearly follow from the preceding point, while the example about your friend shifts abruptly from living abroad to the death of his father. The conclusion also repeats “family support” and joins contrasting ideas awkwardly. Use clearer links between claims and explanations, and ensure each paragraph develops one connected line of thought.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate the main ideas, including “emotional support,” “personal growth,” “opportunities,” and “financial support.” However, the range is limited and several word-choice, collocation, and spelling errors make parts of the response less clear or natural. Examples include “comfortable” where a noun such as “comfort” is needed, “care their family,” and “get experience from new things.” “Postive” and “didnot” also show spelling or word-form problems. Some phrases are repeated, particularly “family support” and “living near.” Build a wider set of accurate expressions for migration, community ties, and career prospects, and check that words fit their grammatical and collocational context.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including “There are several reasons why people choose to live close their family” and a contrast introduced by “Whereas.” However, control is inconsistent, and errors in agreement, articles, prepositions, and sentence construction sometimes make the meaning difficult to follow. For instance, “many people wants” has a subject–verb agreement error, and “my friend living in abroad and there father was expired” contains several faulty grammatical patterns. The final sentence is also incomplete in structure after “Whereas.” Practise forming accurate clauses before adding complexity, and check agreement, articles, and prepositions. More reliable sentence control would make your ideas easier to understand.
