Student answer (Band 5.5)

It is a very special moment for every one when somebody born in their family. From their starting of their life they life in the same area said by few people. The main reason is they love their family. In this eassy, pros and cons will be dicussed in detail.

To begin with, An individual starts their life journey by seeing their family and friends and, for them they are evrything for them. To illustrate, a person will only express their feeling to their loved ones only, so for them it is their comfort zone which they never wanted to leave. Secondly, it is a financial reason, for every citezen moving out of their town is not easy, it is very expensive as of they have to buy or rent a place to live. In more detail, they need to buy most of their furniture and utensiles. Resulting spending enormous amount of money which is not affordable for every one.

However, it is very dangerous to them too because they are not exploring themselves. To support this, people who are not going out their cities, will never what is going on in the whole world. For instance, a person who lived in a small village and never been to any bigger city will never got to about the new culture, new technology which results a huge gap in their lives. Moving forward, sticking to same place for very long will never takes you to sky. Explaining that if an invidual wanted to be successful in their life, he/she needs to get off their safe space. For instance if a small town singer wanted to be a world class singer than he needs to listen go out in the urban areas and wanted to listen every type of music in the whole world than only he can achieve his goal.

In conclusion, although their personal life and fianances are important yet they cannot igore exploring their lives.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You address both questions: you give reasons for staying near one’s birthplace, especially family ties and the cost of moving, and discuss disadvantages such as limited exposure and fewer opportunities. The examples about a village resident and a singer help illustrate these points. However, the advantages are not clearly explained as advantages of staying; family comfort and lower moving costs are mentioned, but their benefits could be stated and developed more directly. Some claims, such as people who stay in their city not knowing what is happening in the world, are too broad. A clearer position and more balanced development of each part of the task would make the response more complete and persuasive.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, a paragraph giving reasons, a paragraph on disadvantages, and a conclusion. Sequencing phrases such as “To begin with,” “Secondly,” and “However” help readers follow the main stages. Within paragraphs, though, connections are sometimes mechanical or unclear. For example, “Resulting spending enormous amount of money” does not form a clear link to the preceding explanation, and “Moving forward” does not clearly signal the relationship between the ideas that follow. Some references are also difficult to track, as in “for them they are everything for them.” Use fewer formulaic transitions and connect each example explicitly to the point it supports; this would make the progression smoother.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “comfort zone,” “financial reason,” “new culture,” and “technology,” and you attempt phrases such as “world class singer.” However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate, which sometimes makes the meaning difficult to follow. For example, “life in the same area said by few people” does not clearly express the idea, while “never got to about” and “listen go out” are not appropriate expressions. Spelling errors such as “eassy,” “citezen,” and “fianances” also reduce accuracy. Build a bank of natural phrases for discussing migration, opportunity, and community, and check spelling and collocations during revision.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and complex sentences, including clauses with “because,” “which,” and “if,” but control is inconsistent. Errors in verb forms and sentence construction occur in examples such as “they life in the same area,” “will never got to about,” and “sticking to same place for very long will never takes you to sky.” Agreement and pronoun use are also unreliable, as in “an individual… their” followed by “he/she,” and several sentences lack a clear grammatical structure. These problems can make the reader work to understand your meaning. Practise forming accurate complex sentences, especially conditional clauses and sentences explaining cause and result, then proofread for verb forms, articles, and agreement.
