Student answer (Band 5.0)
Nowadays, majority of the individual want to remain connect to their native place rather than staying in other city. In my view, benefits of living in homecity surpass the drawbacks.
One of the convincing advantages of lives living close to the roots where people born, this practices shows that people seems to be happy and always looks fresh rather than shifting one place to another and having no ancient things people sometimes gets frustrated, increase the workload and also their become very short they don't have time to explore the world or places where they live. Because, once they decide to migrate to other place they all have to figure out with all things like paying rents, bills and many much more things and if they want become owner of that land they have to work more, earn more. As a result, if they stay connect to their homecity they will find much easy and peacefull life.
Moreover, not only this but also they have resources in their homecity which their ancestor already made and had done many such things for future so, they already have everything to get better and better and, how to increase wealth from which got to ahead. For instance, my grandma stayed in village she has been their since last 70 years and lives in her own way she grow some vegetables, plants in backyard and always try to gather all things which would be helpful for us to run this head even more better.
As far as disadvantage concerned that, if some people will not leave their homecity they will not meet up to new people they just stay connected to their roots but, the will never make new good friend. Never have an experience in different city how contact others. They just live their life in fresh nothing much more they can do.
In conclusion, born and grow up place will keeps you more active and fresh until or unless if you move to other city you will be exahusted by financially.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You address both questions and give a clear overall preference for staying near one’s birthplace, with reasons linked to familiarity, existing resources and family support. The example of your grandmother growing vegetables helps make one point more concrete. However, the reasons people remain near home are not clearly separated from the advantages of doing so, and several claims are vague—for example, that people “seems to be happy” or have “everything to get better and better.” The disadvantages are mentioned, such as missing opportunities to meet people and experience another city, but are only briefly explained. Develop each main idea with a clearer cause, consequence and relevant example, and make the comparison of benefits and drawbacks more balanced.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has an introduction, separate body paragraphs and a conclusion, so the reader can identify its broad structure. You also use linking expressions such as “Moreover,” “For instance” and “In conclusion.” However, progression within paragraphs is often difficult to follow: the first body paragraph moves from happiness to workload, migration costs and peace without clearly showing how each point connects. Some transitions are mechanical or confusing, including “not only this but also,” while repeated references to “homecity” and “their roots” do not always clarify which idea is being discussed. Organise each paragraph around one central point, use shorter sentences to show the relationship between supporting details, and ensure pronouns such as “they” have clear references.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “migrate,” “resources,” “ancestor” and “financially,” and you try to express ideas about belonging, work and opportunity. However, the range is limited by repeated general words such as “things,” “better” and “more,” and several word choices or collocations make meaning unclear. For example, “homecity,” “ancient things,” “run this head” and “exhausted by financially” are not natural or precise expressions in this context. There are also noticeable spelling and word-form problems, such as “peacefull” and “exahusted.” Build a more accurate set of phrases for describing local ties, living costs and social opportunities, and check that each expression fits its intended meaning.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentences, including clauses introduced by “because,” “if” and “which.” However, complex sentences are often faulty, and frequent errors in agreement, verb forms, articles and sentence construction sometimes make the message difficult to follow. Examples include “majority of the individual want,” “people seems to be happy,” and “my grandma stayed in village she has been their since last 70 years.” The final sentence, “born and grow up place will keeps you,” also has several problems with verb form and sentence structure. Practise building one complete main clause at a time, then add subordinate clauses with accurate subject–verb agreement and tense. Review punctuation, especially where full stops are needed instead of commas.
