Student answer (Band 6.0)
It is undeniable that motherland plays a vital role in shaping of human life. Some individual prefer to lives living near to where they were born. From my perspectives, emotional values and comfortabilities are reasons for this trend. The benefits of this trend are safety and accomodation whereas, demerit is less opportunities.
The core reason behind people like to stay connected with motherland is their emotional values. To explain further, one who born at a place, has more emotions towards their locality and inhabitants. People has strong value of their herritage and other monuments, which makes them stay connected to their lovedones. Furthermore, they feel more comfortable with their locality. Not only with people but also with their daily activities they are familiar, which gives pleasant vibes to the inhabitants. Due to the above reasons people like to spend their lives where they were born. To quote an instance, a local farmer has strong emotion with their farms. As it is a herritage of their elders and in fact they are comfortable with their daily farming work.
The pros of the same trend are safety and accomodation. To elaborate, individuals feel safe in their known area as they are aware of geography of their locality. Moreover, for accomodabilty it is a convenient for those who choose to stay near hometown. While inhabitants who prefer to stay away from their motherland has to adjust with the new environment. In short, staying closed to the motherland provides various amenities. To ponder upon negative effects of staying far from motherland is least chance to explore world. For example, they cannot explore other culture traditions, languages, cuisines. In addition to that, youth has less opportunities in the work section.
To conclude, comfortabilities and moral emotional values are main reasons to keep everyone closed to their motherland. Although due to this trend people has least options for varities, individuals feels more safe and no stress of accomodation.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address both questions: emotional attachment and familiarity are offered as reasons, while safety and convenience are presented as advantages and limited exploration and work prospects as disadvantages. These points are relevant, and the farmer example helps illustrate attachment to a birthplace. However, some ideas are asserted rather than fully explained. For instance, the claim that people feel safe because they know the area could be developed with a clearer example, and the disadvantage of fewer work opportunities is mentioned only briefly. The response also shifts between staying near one’s birthplace and staying in one’s “motherland,” which can suggest different ideas. Clarify the scope and extend each main point with a specific explanation or example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a clear overall structure, with an introduction, a paragraph explaining reasons, a paragraph covering advantages and disadvantages, and a conclusion. Linking phrases such as “To explain further,” “Moreover,” and “To conclude” help signal the stages of the argument. However, some connections feel mechanical, and the advantages and disadvantages are crowded into one paragraph, making the shift between them abrupt. Phrases such as “To ponder upon negative effects” do not connect smoothly to the preceding point. Some references are also unclear, including “the same trend” and “they” in the farmer example. Use more natural transitions and organise the pros and cons separately to make the progression easier to follow.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use a range of topic-related vocabulary, including “emotional values,” “locality,” “inhabitants,” “geography,” and “opportunities,” so the main ideas are generally understandable. There are also attempts to use less common expressions, but several choices are inaccurate or unnatural and sometimes obscure your meaning. For example, “comfortabilities,” “accomodabilty,” and “least chance to explore world” are not natural formulations; “heritage” is also misspelled twice. “Motherland” is repeated and may not precisely mean the place where someone was born. Aim for accurate, natural collocations such as “emotional attachment,” “familiar surroundings,” and “limited opportunities,” and check spelling carefully.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt both simple and complex sentence forms, including “Not only with people but also with their daily activities they are familiar,” and “Although due to this trend…” This shows some range, and the overall meaning can usually be followed. However, some errors in verb forms, agreement, articles, and sentence construction remain. Examples include “Some individual prefer to lives,” “one who born at a place,” and “People has strong value.” The final sentence also lacks a clear main-clause structure after “Although.” Practise forming complete clauses and checking subject–verb agreement and verb patterns. More accurate control of these structures would make your ideas clearer while preserving the variety you are attempting.
