Student answer (Band 6.0)
Nowadays Most individual's spend most of living life close to their hometown only. Which has both positive and negative effect in their life .In this eassy merits and demrits will be discussed below in upcoming paragraphs.
To begin with, one main reason people choose to remain close to their birthplace is emotional connection to the place such as family members and friends. Inaddition, more socialization living close as compared living in foriegn countries. Other reason, is family business some people have own family business due to which they cannot relocate for instance in India, many families have 30 year old business in one place that are very successful and they are expanding in own cities. Lastly, living with family can also reduce expense of rent.
On other side, it has some disadvantages also. The biggest drawback is lack of career opportunities at birthplace. In other words some people live in rural area with limited career options as compared to big cities with more options able in jobs and studies such as in Delhi, Mumbai and so on. Secondly, people have few opportunities meet and interact different culture people. For instance in punjab India people few lanuages and less socialization as we can see people in Canada,USA with various culture background and learn various language and culture.
To sumup, people often stay close to their hometown because family bond and emotional attactment. Which provide emotional support, comfort and value of culture whereas it has negative on less career option for adults and young one's. I believe both has pros and cons .

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address both questions: you give reasons for staying near one’s birthplace, including family ties, social connections, family businesses and lower rent, and you discuss disadvantages such as fewer career and cultural opportunities. The examples of established businesses in India and job options in Delhi and Mumbai help make the points relevant. However, some ideas are asserted rather than explained: for example, the claim that people have less chance to meet other cultures in Punjab would benefit from a clearer explanation of how this affects residents. The conclusion repeats the main points but does not clearly state your overall view of the balance between advantages and disadvantages. Develop the effects of each point and make your final position more explicit.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, a paragraph explaining reasons, a paragraph on disadvantages and a conclusion. Sequencing phrases such as “To begin with,” “On other side” and “To sumup” help readers follow the main stages, and the ideas within each body paragraph are generally grouped by topic. This meets the lower-band expectation of coherent overall arrangement and shows some of the clearer progression associated with the next level. However, linking is sometimes mechanical, and the opening and conclusion contain sentence fragments that interrupt the flow. Some connections between claims are also unclear, particularly the move from limited language diversity to socialisation. Use fewer formulaic transitions and connect each example explicitly to the point it supports.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use a relevant range of topic vocabulary, including “emotional connection,” “family business,” “career opportunities,” “rural area” and “cultural background.” These choices communicate the main ideas, and there are attempts to use more specific language than basic everyday terms. However, noticeable spelling and word-choice errors reduce precision, including “eassy,” “demrits,” “foriegn,” “lanuages” and “attactment.” Some phrases are also unnatural, such as “more socialization living close” and “few opportunities meet and interact different culture people.” Aim to learn accurate collocations and check spelling carefully; clearer phrases such as “maintain social ties” and “interact with people from different cultural backgrounds” would make your meaning more fluent and precise.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a reason clause in “people choose to remain close to their birthplace is emotional connection” and a comparison involving rural areas and big cities. The main ideas are usually understandable, but errors in sentence construction and punctuation are prominent. For example, “Nowadays Most individual's spend most of living life” is not a complete, well-formed opening sentence, while “Which has both positive and negative effect” is a fragment. There are also missing articles and prepositions in phrases such as “as compared living” and “opportunities meet and interact different culture people.” Practise building complete sentences with clear subjects and verbs, and check agreement, articles and prepositions before submitting.
