Your friend has been offered a place on a course at the university where you studied. He/She would like your advice about finding a place to live.

Write an email to your friend. In your email

• describe where you lived when you were a student at the university
• recommend the best way for him/her to look for accommodation
• warn him/her of mistakes students make when choosing accommodation

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Dear John,

I am writing this letter to you because I came to know about your Placement in my previous university in Computer Science Field. I will give you some advice regarding accomodation nearby campus area.

Firstly, I lived in an apartment with my own private room and sharing kitchen and bathroom. At that time my rent is affordable according to student needs. Also with that in my building there was a local library which help me with my late night studies.

I will recommend to find renting place near to university, it will save your travelling time. Moreover try to find place on Facebook marketplace by posting your details and budget. There is a local community hall so you can ask if any one need any tenents.

Make sure not to book any unit without viewing it in physically from eyes. Adding to it do check if they have facilites like stove or water heating system. At last see if landlord not charge you for any hidden fees. I will be really happy if you found home there make sure to notify me.
