IELTS Writing Task 1 question

Your friend has been offered a place on a course at the university where you studied. He/She would like your advice about finding a place to live.

Write an email to your friend. In your email

• describe where you lived when you were a student at the university
• recommend the best way for him/her to look for accommodation
• warn him/her of mistakes students make when choosing accommodation

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Dear Bowen,

I hope you are doing good.

Firstly congratulations on getting into your dream university, so this college is at a very great location near by you can find good Pg's but i would suggest to take a place in middle of where everything is near by, so when i was a student their i lived at manharten place it has very big room for a student at reasonable price.

Also if you would like to do house hunting for yourself i would suggest search on marketplace its best and easy to find accommodation you can go view the place after searching on marketplace and can also ask for some discount on room.

And keep this thing in mind that do not go looking for sharing apartment this place has very small rooms people can barely fit their own stuff and you will just need to suffer if stayed with other students and that can keep your mind disturbed you will not able to study or do your own stuff easily.
