Your friend has been offered a place on a course at the university where you studied. He/She would like your advice about finding a place to live.

Write an email to your friend. In your email

• describe where you lived when you were a student at the university
• recommend the best way for him/her to look for accommodation
• warn him/her of mistakes students make when choosing accommodation

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Dear Alexa,

I’m very glad to know that you has been got an opportunity to study in KCM university. I’d like to suggest you some best and comfortable places to live.

I has been done my post graduation from this university also and i used to live in hostel instead of pg or a private room outside the campus. I lived in ‘khalsa’ hostel which is more clean and facilities than the others and it is cheaper than private pg.

If you want i can give you hostel warden number who can assist you in finding appropriate room for you according to your preference, or you can search on the internet about the suitable pg if you want to live outside the campus.

Please don’t make mistake by finding accommodation far than the main campus.So that you don’t need to use any public transport to reach the university because it will be wastage of money to travel daily for university alongwith the rent of room.

I’m very excited to hearing from you about your new life and hope so we will meet soon.
