Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5

The response addresses both parts of the prompt: the current era and a future era. However, the development of ideas is somewhat superficial. For instance, the mention of 'cosmetology' as a key reason for the current era being the best is not well-justified or relevant to the broader scope of the question. The discussion of the future is also quite speculative and lacks concrete examples, relying on vague statements like 'the government has experimenting with humans'. To improve, you should focus on providing more substantial, logical arguments and specific examples that directly support your position rather than listing general fields.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5

The essay is organised into clear paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or inaccurate. For example, 'There by' is used incorrectly as a transition, and the punctuation around 'Also i believe that ,' is non-standard. The progression of ideas within paragraphs is sometimes disjointed, particularly in the second paragraph where the link between vehicle variety and the 'best time to live' is not clearly articulated. Improving the variety and accuracy of linking words would significantly enhance the flow of your writing.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.0

The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks precision and sophistication. There are several instances of awkward word choices, such as 'Smart devices inventio' (should be 'inventions') and 'pupil' (which usually refers to students, not people in general). The range is limited, and there is a reliance on basic descriptors. To reach a higher band, you should aim to use more precise collocations and academic vocabulary, such as 'technological advancements' instead of 'technological development' and 'facilitate' instead of 'makes their daily lives less complicated'.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0

The essay contains frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede readability. Issues include subject-verb agreement ('The government has experimenting'), incorrect pluralisation ('basic need'), and punctuation errors (unnecessary commas and spacing issues). While you attempt some complex structures, they are often marred by these errors. The sentence structure is somewhat repetitive. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction, ensuring correct verb forms, and refining your use of articles and prepositions. Proofreading for common slips like 'i' instead of 'I' is also essential.
