Student answer (Band 6.5)
With the development of new things it is more easy to live and survive as compared to past. According to the some individuals modern time is the good time for living. I totally agree with this opinion. I will eleborate more deeply in the upcoming paragrapghs.
Firstly, with the advancement of new technology people can do any thing. To be more precise, with the one click person can buy anything even they do not need to go out. But past time it was very hard even folks were not more fashionable and updated. For intstance, People usually spend more money to buy new products, utensils, fashionable clothes easily and also get discount offfers. Moreover, it will also improve the workplace. As previously people often do the labours job but now most of the individuals have good jobs and luxury lifestyle.
In addition, long distance are also cover by this development. In past there was no mobile phone where people can talk with their kith and kins but now half of the folks have there own gargets where they can not talk but also seen their faces by vdieo calls. Even it also change the education system, children can also take online class rather than going schools. Thus, this is the best time for enjoying life.
In conclusion, I personally believe this period is the best period as every person have their own freedom and rights. I also feel that ancient and medieval history was also good for people but not more than this time .

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5
The response addresses both parts of the prompt, though the second part regarding which other time in history would be interesting to live in is handled very briefly in the conclusion. The position is clear, but the development of ideas is somewhat limited and relies on generalisations. For example, the claim that 'people can do anything' with technology is an overstatement. To reach a higher band, you should provide more specific, nuanced examples and ensure that both parts of the prompt are given balanced attention. The conclusion mentions that ancient history was 'good', but fails to explain why it would be interesting to live in, which is a requirement of the task.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The essay is organised into paragraphs, and there is a logical progression of ideas. You use some cohesive devices such as 'Firstly', 'In addition', and 'In conclusion' to link your points. However, the use of these devices is sometimes mechanical, and the referencing is occasionally unclear, such as in the sentence 'long distance are also cover by this development'. The flow between sentences could be improved by using a wider variety of linking words and ensuring that pronouns clearly refer back to their intended nouns. Overall, the structure is sufficient to follow your argument.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The vocabulary used is adequate for the task but lacks the precision and range required for higher bands. There are several instances of awkward phrasing and word choice errors, such as 'labours job' instead of 'manual labour' and 'gargets' instead of 'gadgets'. Some words are used incorrectly, such as 'eleborate' (spelling error) and 'kith and kins' (which is an idiom that does not fit the context of modern communication). To improve, focus on learning collocations and using more precise terminology to express your ideas clearly.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
There is a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but the essay contains frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede the reader's understanding. Examples include 'it is more easy' (should be 'easier'), 'past time it was very hard' (missing preposition), and 'half of the folks have there own gargets' (incorrect pronoun 'there' instead of 'their'). Subject-verb agreement and article usage are also inconsistent. While the meaning is generally conveyed, the high frequency of errors prevents the essay from reaching a higher band. Focus on proofreading for basic subject-verb agreement and preposition usage.
