Student answer (Band 6.0)
It is universally acknowledged that 21st century is the greatest period of life which ever had before. Hence, the group of folk contend that living standard has ameliorated promptly. I, therefore believe that the next decade can be predicted for unexpected change.
On the one hand, our ancestors have witnessed that due to recent development. Life is become so easier than ever before. The prominent cause of this trend is evaluation of advanced technology, which have made it possibly luxurious and convenient. It means the people can commute to the long distance in short time span, which, interestingly, was not possible in earlier period. In past, citizens were deprived with transport service. They, however, have to walk to reach their destination point. The second factor to contribute for better living standard. Due to industrialization, the quality life of individuals have improved in terms of affordability, education and above all, employment. Nowadays, people have satiate with the desire they want to achieve in their life, while in past, they were living in poor conditions with lack of electricity and equipments.
After discussing the above points, I concur that the history will be commended for other incredible growth in the upcoming period, where citizens might be experience innovative things which is not yet exist. Furthermore, the world is observing the intelligent level of Gen-z, which may have ability to reshape the next decade.
To recapitulate, after carefully considering aforementioned viewpoints, I, albeit, opine that the time is rewarding, but it will be attributable. So, the balanced approach will be accounted to deal with it.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses both parts of the prompt, but the development of ideas is inconsistent. While you discuss the benefits of the 21st century, the second part of the prompt—discussing another interesting time in history—is largely ignored or misunderstood. You mention the 'next decade' instead of a historical period, which means you did not fully address the requirement to choose a different time in history. The position is clear, but the supporting arguments are somewhat repetitive and lack specific historical examples or deep analysis, leading to an under-developed response in terms of content.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The essay is organised into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or inaccurate. For example, 'Hence, the group of folk contend' and 'I, albeit, opine' feel forced and do not always connect ideas logically. The progression of ideas is sometimes disjointed, particularly in the transition between the benefits of technology and the vague conclusion. While there is an overall attempt at structure, the lack of clear logical flow between sentences and the misuse of linking words prevent a higher score.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
You attempt to use a wider range of vocabulary, but there are frequent issues with collocation and word choice. Phrases like 'group of folk', 'evaluation of advanced technology' (likely meaning 'evolution'), and 'people have satiate with the desire' are unnatural or grammatically incorrect. While you demonstrate an attempt to use more sophisticated language, the lack of precision often obscures your meaning. To improve, focus on using words in their correct context rather than choosing complex-sounding vocabulary that does not fit the sentence structure.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
There are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text that occasionally impede clarity. Common issues include subject-verb agreement ('Life is become so easier', 'the quality life of individuals have improved'), article usage ('the 21st century'), and sentence structure ('which is not yet exist'). You attempt complex sentences, but these are often where the most significant errors occur. While the meaning is generally understandable, the high frequency of errors in basic and complex structures limits the score. Focus on mastering subject-verb agreement and consistent verb tense usage.
