Student answer (Band 6.5)
According to few members of the society, Today's period is the best time to live in. I agree with the statement due to increasing technological advancement into the payment method in nowadays. A decade ago, when the infrastructral development at it's peak level, was also to be considered the facinating to be lived in.
One key reason, why few individuals are considered nowadays as the best time is the increasing technological advancement into the payment method. Few years ago, society were using the cash as their payment mode. As a result, many of the theft events happened, and people were loosing their hardcore money. In recent times, an online payment method was introduced, such as paypal, google pay, and paytm. Due to advancement in the payment method, individuals do not need to carry cash with them to purchase a product. Considering this, people feel safe while they are going out for the shopping. For example, a research conducted in the India shows 70 percent of the theft event decreased due to people are more using the online method for purchasing the product rather than using cash.
When the society saw the infrastructual boom 10 years ago, they considered it as the good time to live as well. Govenement launched so many policies regarding the increment of the airports and the railway station in the country. Those policies helped members of the society to travel into the cities and the world with more easily. For instance, after developed many major international airports and the major train stations, people in the contries were more interested to visit the different places and explore the beauty world as well as their own nation.
In conclusion, The best era of living will be changing for the society based on the positive development they will see in the future.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5
The response addresses both parts of the prompt: the opinion on the current era and an alternative historical period. However, the development is somewhat limited. The focus on 'payment methods' as the primary reason for the current era being the best is quite narrow and lacks depth. The second part regarding the 'infrastructural boom' 10 years ago is relevant but could have been more clearly linked to why that specific time would be interesting to live in. The position is clear, but the supporting arguments would benefit from more sophisticated reasoning and broader examples to reach a higher band.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, each with a clear focus. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'One key reason', 'For example', and 'In conclusion', which help guide the reader. However, some transitions feel mechanical, and there are instances where the flow is slightly disrupted by awkward phrasing, such as 'According to few members of the society'. Paragraphing is used appropriately to separate the two main ideas, but the progression within paragraphs could be smoother to improve the overall coherence of the argument.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, allowing the writer to convey their meaning. There are some attempts at topic-specific vocabulary like 'technological advancement' and 'infrastructural boom'. However, there are several errors in word choice and collocation, such as 'hardcore money' (likely meaning 'hard-earned money'), 'theft events' (instead of 'theft incidents'), and 'beauty world'. These errors do not impede communication, but they indicate a need for a more precise and natural range of vocabulary to achieve a higher score.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the meaning is generally clear, there are frequent grammatical errors, particularly with articles ('the India', 'the beauty world'), subject-verb agreement ('society were using'), and prepositional usage. Punctuation errors, such as the unnecessary comma in 'In conclusion, The', are also present. While the writer attempts complex structures, the frequency of errors is noticeable and occasionally distracts the reader, though it does not prevent the message from being understood.
