Student answer (Band 6.0)
I disagree with this given statement that this current phase is best time to live in history.
Firstly, there are various reasons why previous history time is best to live and know about historical information. I listened many stories and scarifies of our ancient people who did for us. If I talk about Sikh religious, there are many contributions which they made for us as compare to these days. In addition to it, there were many people who lost their lives to provide best lifestyles. Moreover, government spend a lot of money to preserve historical places such as museums because there are several books and things to know about our culture. At the same time, schools also plan a trip to visit these types of places so students can enhance their knowledge.
However, according to my opinion, I do not accept that live would be more interesting in upcoming years to live touch in history. First and foremost, These days most of the schools are focusing on other course instead of teach history. I noticed that nowadays people have no knowledge about our previous cultures especially in overseas nation. Furthermore, technology is main reason which prevent them to know about their history because they spend there most of the time on social media and so on.
In conclusion, I totally disagree with the statement due to above mentioned reasons.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response fails to meet the minimum word count requirement of 250 words, which significantly impacts the development of ideas. While you address both parts of the prompt—your opinion on the current era and an alternative historical period—the discussion is underdeveloped. You mention the Sikh religion and historical preservation, but these points lack specific examples or logical connection to the prompt's core question about 'living' in those times. The second part of the prompt regarding which other time would be interesting is not clearly answered; you instead pivot to a critique of modern education and technology. To improve, ensure you fully expand on your arguments with concrete examples and address all parts of the question explicitly.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into paragraphs, but the progression of ideas is often unclear. You use some cohesive devices like 'Firstly', 'In addition to it', and 'However', but they are sometimes used mechanically or inappropriately. For instance, the transition between your opinion on the current era and the discussion of historical interest is abrupt. The referencing is occasionally confusing, such as in the second paragraph where the link between 'upcoming years' and 'history' is unclear. To improve, focus on using transition words that logically connect your sentences and ensure each paragraph has a clear, singular focus that supports your overall argument.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
Your vocabulary is generally adequate for basic communication but lacks the range and precision required for a higher band score. You rely on simple phrasing and some word-choice errors, such as 'previous history time' instead of 'historical periods' and 'overseas nation' instead of 'foreign countries'. There is also some repetition of basic words like 'history' and 'know'. To reach a higher band, try to incorporate more precise academic vocabulary and collocations. For example, instead of saying 'spend a lot of money', you could use 'allocate significant resources' or 'invest heavily'.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede clarity. Common issues include subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'government spend' instead of 'governments spend'), missing articles (e.g., 'in Sikh religious'), and awkward phrasing (e.g., 'I listened many stories and scarifies'). Punctuation is generally functional, but sentence construction often feels fragmented. To improve, focus on mastering basic subject-verb agreement and the correct use of articles. Additionally, try to vary your sentence structure by using more complex clauses, but ensure they are grammatically sound.
