Some individuals comment that current period is the best period for living in history. However, I think that ancient times were the best for living because old times were entertaining and easy lifestyle. Although those times were great, other time like were when people were animals living in caves where interesting. I am going to discuss current life and past life on our upcoming paragraphs with relevant examples.

Therefore, people are not facing issues commuting from one place to another location and are not finding troubles on daily household work. From my perspective, the period of 1500 A.D to 1700 A.D was a great to live. At that time people were living either by working on farms by doing farming or working in arts and crafts in the towns. Although this activity were physically demanding and hard work, they assisted people's physical and mental health.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response addresses both parts of the prompt: the current era and an alternative historical period. However, the development of ideas is limited. The arguments regarding the 1500-1700 period and the 'caveman' era are underdeveloped and rely on generalizations rather than specific, logical support. For instance, the claim that a great-grandfather lived to 135 is factually implausible and lacks a credible connection to the historical period discussed. The position is clear, but the supporting evidence lacks the depth required for a higher band score. The conclusion is also incomplete, trailing off mid-sentence.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is organized into paragraphs, but the progression of ideas is often disjointed. While some cohesive devices are used (e.g., 'To commence with', 'Additionally', 'In conclusion'), they are sometimes used mechanically or incorrectly. Referencing is occasionally unclear, such as the transition between the discussion of modern technology and the shift to the 16th century. The final paragraph is unfinished, which disrupts the overall coherence of the piece. Paragraphing is present but the internal structure of the paragraphs lacks logical flow.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The range of vocabulary is limited and repetitive. Basic terms are used throughout, such as 'great', 'good', and 'interesting'. There are several instances of awkward word choice and collocation errors, such as 'current period is the best period for living' and 'communicate by without speaking'. Spelling errors, such as 'greatgrandfather', 'livied', and 'trad', further detract from the quality of the writing. To improve, you should focus on using more precise vocabulary and ensuring correct word forms.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay contains a high frequency of grammatical errors that occasionally impede communication. There are frequent issues with subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'nowadays life is become', 'they lives in caves'), article usage, and sentence structure. Complex sentence attempts are often faulty, leading to run-on sentences or fragments. Punctuation is inconsistent, and the incomplete final sentence demonstrates a lack of control over sentence boundaries. A greater focus on basic grammatical accuracy and sentence construction is necessary.
