Some individual believe that contemporary time is the most adorable moments for one to live in history due to various factors. I completely agree with the statement that recent time is the best moments for one to survive more conveniently with the help of the advent of technology. I will also mention a period which I believe would quiet interesting to live.
To begin with, there are colossal reason why many feel that current moments are the best in the history to live. The primary reason of this phenomenon is advent of technology made people life easy and comfortable. Because these changes helped people to access to electricity, hygiene water, quality of food and easy travel, better education, advanced medical equipment’s, etc. Furthermore, current era helped people to connect from different corners of the world using their smart devices. Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 4.0
The response fails to meet the minimum word count requirement of 250 words, as it is only 214 words long. Furthermore, the essay is incomplete; it ends abruptly after the introduction of the second prompt ('Nevertheless, another era which I would like to live is'). Because the second part of the task is not addressed at all, the response is significantly underdeveloped. While the first part of the prompt is addressed with some relevant ideas regarding technology and medicine, the failure to complete the essay and the lack of word count severely impact the overall task achievement score.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay uses basic cohesive devices such as 'To begin with', 'Furthermore', and 'Additionally' to link ideas. However, the progression is interrupted by the incomplete nature of the text. Paragraphing is attempted, but the final paragraph is non-existent, which disrupts the logical flow of the argument. Referencing is generally clear, but the lack of a conclusion or a second body paragraph makes the overall structure feel fragmented and unfinished. To improve, ensure that each paragraph is fully developed and that the essay reaches a logical conclusion.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The range of vocabulary is limited and occasionally inaccurate. For example, the phrase 'most adorable moments' is an inappropriate collocation for describing a historical era. There are also errors in word choice, such as 'hygiene water' instead of 'hygienic water' or 'clean water'. While the student attempts to use some topic-specific vocabulary like 'globalisation' and 'international trade', the overall control is inconsistent. The vocabulary is sufficient for basic communication but lacks the precision and flexibility required for higher band scores.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay contains frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede clarity. There are issues with subject-verb agreement, such as 'Some individual believe' (should be 'Some individuals believe') and 'many disease were cured' (should be 'many diseases were cured'). The use of articles and plurals is also inconsistent, for instance, 'advent of technology made people life easy' should be 'the advent of technology has made people's lives easier'. While there is an attempt at complex sentence structures, the frequent errors in basic grammar limit the score.
